I'm aware of that and we had a short conversation about his performance yesterday. If you remember, I said that I'd watch him closely on Tuesday as it was quite possible that I missed something that you and others saw in his game.

It's not naive Mikey to condemn a season on one performance, it's bloody stupid.
And I had to take a sigh of relief when Arty said that Roberts was signing for Wealdstone. I thought he was going to say US. Good luck to Wealdstone on that little venture.
Hoping for a good performance Tuesday, as we're only 3 points off the top. Didn't see St Albans result yesterday, didn't care much.

So, what we need is McQueen and Noble back PRONTO. Am I right in saying that? And maybe Ronnie to get his finger out and get a partnership with Hill going too. That's if the Deadly Duo want him of course.

Also Luke Warner-Eley and Adam Cunnington impressed and Mark Smith made a couple of superb saves. We were lucky to survive Wealdstone's early onslaught with only a one goal deficit, but fought back well to go in level at half time. I thought we were in the ascendancy when Wealdstone got a somewhat fortuitous goal to take a 2-1 lead, but we did fall apart at the end.

There is no denying that there were some big problems in defence today, the Stones number 3 caused Jordan Wynter all sorts of problems, particularly in the first half and I don't think Tom Bonner will be pleased with his own performance.

Still, these are all good players and it's far too early to be making judgements. Win on Tuesday and it will all feel a lot better.

Their number 3 caused problems for our defenders becuase he wonders past Ryan Hayes who ball watches and doesn’t be arsed move and help at the back. That is the only reason and the 3 puts our defenders under pressure by Ryno being so lazy.
It’s Astonshinb he can do so little and cross the ball poorly so many times and get praised for his good crossing. He didn’t cross the ball better than anyone else in fact others were better and Luke shows you how a true winger should play.
It’s also amazing how Ryan can do naff all, not track back where in particular the first half where he allows the number 3 to have the easiest day of his season that he’s going to have.
No matter how many times he loses the ball rynos is praised for normal side passes that is just basic passing. It’s embarrassing how so many players give everything they have and most have quality around them they work hard for each other . Ryan lazes around and gets praise for doing naff all apart from time and time again putting our team under pressure because of his laziness and over rated talent.
I wonder why all the other players don’t get the same adulation he does for doing very little.

As for the score line we should of gone 2-1 up a few times. No one mentioned Ryan’s inability to control the ball facing down close to goal. Thank god that wasn’t someone else or he would of been critised.

That aside to say it wasn’t a 4-1 game we should of been down 4- -1 at half time but not thanks to Ryan’s laziness but our keeper pulling off a sting of good saves preventing this score line.
Absolutely the second half was more even but funny how we can concede 3 goals in the half and still be the better team as many say.

People may think it’s the first game but this is a continuation and playing with 10 men and 1 who is detrimental to the side but a flan and fans favourite it’s never going to change.

I know many people share a similar opinion on this but either don’t post on here or are afraid to.

It was a dreadful performance and we were deservedly beaten by a fair score line.

I feel sorry for most of the players who are let down by poor management decisions (Ryan starting and then nit coming off after doing nothing but outting the team in constant danger, Allen coming off) who put everything in.
Cunnington was getting frustrated and how good was he, so glad he’s on my side.
Keeper did well Luke did well and Allen was great.

And Ryan If you read this forum what I’m sure you do, just run and give 100% that’s all your doubters want.

Kentc, I think no one posts on the 'Ryan' subject because it's been done to death. It's not going to change anytime soon. But I do know where you're coming from.
There's always Tuesday when I attend my first game and he will turn it on for twenty minutes and become a Dart's hero, yet again.
We can always hope.

I didn't see any of the pre-season games because I was still in Lincoln. A lot of concern was expressed during July that we would struggle to score, especially when injuries began to be a problem and we had not been able to sign a big striker. Looking back at the updates and reports on the friendlies it strikes me that there were also a lot of defensive errors being made, so perhaps yesterday should not come as so much of a surprise.

See you on Tuesday.
Indeed, in fact just a tiny bit faster than it has taken the rosetinters to attack someone for having an opinion on the current state of affairs that differs from their own. Good work!
I didn’t see the game yesterday so I cannot really comment on the performance, but what I can comment on is the ridiculous defeatism shown by a minority before the match had actually finished? For crying out loud, it was the first game of the season and we lost, and so there’s already talk of relegation?
Trust me Mr Handshandy I am no “Rosetinter” (is there such a word?) I will give an opinion and anybody is free to respond, that’s why it’s called a forum for debate.

If after 10-15 games and we are still looking sh*t and are losing on a regular basis then is the time to start talking about relegation and all that is wrong with the world, but until then shall we get matters into perspective? Win Tuesday and everything will be rosy again. Fickle!!

Must say; as pseudonyms go yours seems very Apt. Good work! ;)

Only alphabetically:- there are three teams on 1-4 and Dartford come first in the alphabet (the bottom team are on 0-3). As someone elsewhere said, though, looking on the bright side, we are only 3 points off joint top.

Havant and Waterlooville drop a point at home to Welling. Well, that's Havant relegated then.
