At last, a brand new season kicks off, as they all do - with high hopes and expectations. Now the pre season friendlies are out of the way, the real business begins.
This game will be a tricky test for the lads and will be a fair indicator of what's to come. There have been a few disappointing results there in the past so a win would be a great start.
Anyway, I'll be there. COYD.

A draw would be a great start, a win would be an 'unexpected' start for me. i wonder what team we would start the new season with?
Up the Darts.
Exciting.

The fixtures for August come thick and fast and are tough, hoping the fitness is there now and the line up balanced. I'm optimistic as we have some pace in there and have a fitter leaner Ryan. Up the Darts!

Has anyone heard anymore on the shoulder injury to Darren McQueen that he suffered last weekend. It looked very serious but have heard nothing more about since.

A bit about it and the lack of fit strikers for Saturday on Kent Messenger this morning https://www.kentonline.co.uk/dartford/s ... wn-209575/TheLongHall wrote: ↑Tue Jul 30, 2019 12:21 pm Has anyone heard anymore on the shoulder injury to Darren McQueen that he suffered last weekend. Means we only have 14 players fit and available from the first team squad to pick from for game one. Not a great way to start.
(Smith, Bonner, Hill, Vint, Warner-Eley, Wynter, Allen, Brodie, Greenhalgh, Hayes, Nasha, Noble, Wanadio and Pugh)

Can’t wait.
We go there to win.
If we performe well but only draw that’s fair enough it happens.
With our squad even after the injuries we should be going with a winning mentality.

That’s a worry. Written in the stars for a monumental comeback by PUGHIE though. Look forward to catching up with you droogies on Saturday

The arrival of Cunnington and Wabo changes everything for me. Keeping our best players and bringing in some exciting new ones was looking a super difficult task but Coyley & Flanners have passed that test with flying colours. On paper we look a real threat now and I am buzzing for the new season.

I have it on good authority Arthur is drinking heavily and the 9:30 rule is under real pressure tonight....
