If you missed the Ebbsfleet game you can catch up on the match with my report here: https://youngsportsjourno.wordpress.com ... -dart-ebb/

Some of the comments on Quigley seem a bit harsh and I wouldn't dismiss someone just on the stats. He must be doing something right if a Div 2 club are considering signing him and for all we know, he could be a superstar for us. I've learned my lesson in the past, it's what they do in a Dartford shirt that counts so I'll reserve my judgement until I've seen him play.

Well it won’t be Joe Quigley signing for us then. He’s just signed for Dagenham.

Peter Taylor thinks he is worth giving a two-year contract. Presumably Mansfield couldn't find the money in the budget to sign him.
Re: Pre-Season Match Thread 2019/20
I felt there was enough to be positive about against Ebbsfleet. As the possession and corners racked up in the first half, one could sense the goal coming. As for the equaliser, agree that pre-season friendly is absolutely the time to get that out of the way. Ashmore’s blushes were saved as the ball that he volleyed into his own defender trundled narrowly past the post.
For us, Smith looked fairly confident in goal and has a chance of emulating Deren’s goalscoring heroics with that powerhouse kick of his and Wanadio is a welcome re-signing. The Fleet, on the other hand, will need to do some good summer business in order to compete at National level next season.

They certainly will- they have only got ten players signed up so far. Those ten are having to put in a lot of time in the pre-season matches too.
