As my trip has been delayed to the end of August, I thought it a good idea to start the pre-season round up with the trip to Sevenoaks on Saturday. I'm probably in a minority but I personally love pre-season. No pressure, hopefully warm weather, a cold beer and a catch up with football friends . Also a chance to catch up with the Dartford legend Micky Collins who has done a sterling job at Sevenoaks. Got to admit my negativity was extremely high at the end of last season and even bandying the R word around if we did not improve . However the break has done me good and hopefully we can do much better this season. Looking forward to seeing a few new players in the team and meeting up with everyone. At least for a few weeks

Thought I would go to this one but I didn't know that the M26 slip road off the M20 would be closed.
It took another hour to get the less than 2 miles to the next turnoff for Swanley & the M25 and by now it was 3.00pm and the Sat Nav suggesting another 30 minutes and that was if I could get round the roundabout.
With the slip road for the M25 Dartford completely clear I gave up and took it.
I hope we had a good turnout of fans and that you all enjoyed the game.
