Half the Ebbfleet team have gone to Havant and Waterlooville
Re: Retained/Released players list
Danny Parrish well worth a look at, if we can sign him before he goes into the Football league.
Re: Retained/Released players list
I don't think anyone would stop off at Dartford on their way to the Football league would they??
Re: Retained/Released players list
Saw this kid whilst at Thamesmead when they played at PP scored 20 goals in about two thirds of a season. Thamesmead fold, he ends up at Ashford and for the second consecutive season he scores 20 plus goals from about October.
Very good player under our nose, definitely worth a few pre season games at the least if we are looking at another striker, a bit similar to McQueen.
Personally think he be another Cody, similar build and stature.
Could be like Alfie May at Doncaster did the rounds Chatham, E & B, Corinthian, Bromley, Hythe before getting a break. It happens. Might be worth a punt on an up coming youngster.

Nice to read Paul Doswell's article in the NLP last week. Once upon a time he would have Dartford down as the team to watch when he was at Sutton Utd. Not a mention this time around.
Weren't we one of the favourites with the bookies last season?
I liked the look at what is going on at Braintree during the summer, the manager there is getting a lot of lower league youngsters in. That should be interesting too, as in my opinion there are a lot of youngsters down there who would give their right arm to be given the chance. Although, that wouldn't do much for their balance.

Are H & W paying that much more than us in wages and expenses that they can attract players like him and we can't?Skip wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 9:13 pmHappy chappy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 6:24 pm I heard a RUMOUR today that we have made an offer to Danny Kedwell.
He’d have to take a massive pay cut!
What ever our opinion of him his record shows that he always scores goals and creates goals for others with his presence.in the opponents penalty area.

H & W will be the team to beat in our league this coming season in my opinion.Ozymandias wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:48 am Nice to read Paul Doswell's article in the NLP last week. H & W are currently 6/1 favourites for the title , which gives credence to your opinion that they will be the team to beat this season ? The Darts are currently 16/1 which probably reflects on last seasons poor showing ? but maybe worth a little wagerHappy chappy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 6:27 pmH & W will be the team to beat in our league this coming season in my opinion.Ozymandias wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:48 am Nice to read Paul Doswell's article in the NLP last week. Well we need to be optimistic, don't we? A decent squad is being assembled but we have had some quality players on paper in the past and they didn't work out so a our fortunes this season will be determined on our spirit, enthusiasm, hard work, tactics and above all a happy camp where all the squad put in 100% for the managers.
For the record, natural goal scorers do not grow on trees and I remember very well the clinical, quality finishing of Cody Mac....if the guy is one of those then we should take a look at him?
For me we need to banish thoughts of the last 10 games last season and draw a line in the sand....optimism!
