The decision has already been made, they are staying.

I can recall several Dartford players who became our managers since supporting the club some as player managers.
Alf Ackerman 1961 -1966
Peter Reeves 1975 - 1976 dismissed after finishing second in the league and winning promotion
Graham Carr 1978 - 1980
Glen Coupland had two spells
Peter Taylor 1986 - 1990
Bob Makin 1990 - 1992
Tony Burman 1993 - 1996
Gary Julians 1996 - 2001
Tony Burman Temporary manager until T.S. appointed
Tommy Sampson 2001 - 2005
Tony Burman 2005 and onwards etc etc
Flannigan & Allan :? sorry Coyle but who are the real jokers  2018 - 2019
2019 - 2020  No more please let's get someone fresh in someone with managerial experience and with the board behind them and with Tony's help only when needed.
My thanks to the two History of Dartford FC books, well what do you expect with my memory at 71 years

After reading the various match reports yesterday, it is now the right time that Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan should be released by the Club..

It was a critical game yesterday for DFC and, unfortunately, they were unable to deliver the right result despite taking the lead.

The quality of the squad was not up to the standard required for DFC and it is now obvious that the budget was not used wisely.

It is disappointing that the squad was not up to the required standard in view of the fact that both Jamie and Adam have both managed at National League South level and would have expected them to have a greater knowledge of the talented players operating at this level.

Fortunately, at the present time, Chris Kinnear (ex-Dover Athletic Manager) is available and believe that he would be an ideal choice for the job in view of the fact that he has considerable experience of management at National League level and understand that he has recently retired from the teaching profession.

According to the Non League grapevine, it would appear that he is highly rated in the Non League hierarchy and believe that he would be an ideal choice for DFC.

Have to disagree with one thing Seahouse, It wasn't a critical game on Saturday, the idea of qualifying for the play-offs was a fantasy. That finished a few weeks back. For me anyway.
