For Crying out loud; get a grip Arthur !!Arthur Horsfield wrote:Ok i give up its frigging stupid. Have your way the lot of you. Sack them. All you judges. I will say no more but please do me one favour. If they are kept on and do well shall we say. Please do not simply write oh they've made me eat my words. They proved me wrong. I was wrong to say this say that. Everyone of you sharpened those knives early in the season. But then when things were going right you put them back in the drawer. Only to bring them out again only after a trip down Wilkinsons to buy a few more. So go then have your way sack them . Tell them they are useless and then you all have what you want. Good luck but it's not from me
I'd be happy to answer those points Arthur. Of course I can't speak for everyone else, but in my opinion it's not because of our league position or because we missed out on the play-offs that I regard it as a fail. It's because we've made no progress at rebuilding. If we had signed 3 or 4 players of note or blooded a couple of promising youngsters with a view to the future then I would be happy. Instead they rejected good players like Brown, Collier and Wall and brought in inferior replacements. They agreed year long loan deals on players who simply weren't good enough and just kept chucking more loanees at the problem in the hope it would fix things. On top of all that, they have lost the dressing room. I genuinely believe that the few good players we have are less likely to stay under this management duo than if a new manager is appointed.Arthur Horsfield wrote:Spike I really do understand your points. You put them across in a well mannered way. I can understand many of the supporters points however no one answers the point if a person was at the helm and he didn't get IMMEADIATE success next season would the way forward be to sack him. I understand your viewpoint about progress and how you feel we haven't made any. But a simple sack a manager everytime we don't go up or whatever line in the sand you wish to make the winning /judgement line is certainly not mine. Obviously I know we didn't but had we won Saturday this conversation
