A good work out for the Darts on a very sunny[ hot] afternoon against decent opposition in Sevenoaks , easy to see why Sam York is rated and no reason why he will NOT do well for us this season , last seasons " regulars " ALL looked o k and Carter looked the pick of the trialists in the 1st half , as for the trialists ALL did ok and it will be interesting see who gets " the nod " from Roast , Carter, Mensah , Igahore and Allarkhia , who didnt play today but I am told also did well at Aveley ????????

With the provider of 40% of assists of our goals [ Hayes] no longer with us I was hoping to see our back 4 play short balls to a [ creative midfield ] so as to spread the load for the coming season , NOT seen it so far in the 2 games I've seen but hopefully Flan/Coyle influence will be different to TBs !!!!!!!!!!!!

My first game of the season and lots of new faces on the pitch and strange to see TB wandering round the ground in shorts and sunglasses a spectator like the rest of us. Some good performances first half on a very hot day and we played the ball on the deck. Could be promising.
