We stopped going a few seasons ago a few mates and our kids
We felt that the board were letting the fans down
Mr Archer stepped down, no doubt realising the club was growing too big too quickly
But the club sold the fans a dream of league football was possible
Just look how far Luton have gone since we beat them at kenilworth road
And look at the strides Lincoln have made
I know mr Burman is on the board , but I firmly believe the rest of the board didn’t give the money needed to go into that next level
Burman for me was the person to take Dartford into league football
But the board didn’t back him enough
Sorry if that upsets the regulars at PP
But I feel the board have massively let you the fans down
I hope to get Along next season , and for the record I think Tony Burman needs to come back in
And new board members come in
Just my own opinion, that way stay away locals will return
PD am I right in saying you was not a TB fan before? Didn’t you say we needed change? I’ve not looked at your history I’m not that sad bit I’m sure you were not happy with TB.
No I never said Burman was wrong for the club
I said the board were wrong
I knew the man personally a few years back
He put his life and soul into that club
I felt the board let him down
I made a comment about growing some balls and sorting the mess out some four years ago
Some took that as a dig at Burman
It wasn’t I felt and still feel the board bottled it

Kentc dont you think I know that. Just feel people like ozy just want there pound of flesh when they have the power of hindsight with my comments of support in the past. However I do understand people's comments today. Something must be wrong. I try not to criticise as i can never fully be sure if players are injured etc.. But if Bailey Vose wasn't injured today what message does that send out to him. Ok if the lads feel he made a mistake or may be more and they thought he should be dropped thats fine. But to replace him with a near 40 year old keeper who was/ is (I'm not sure) coming out of retirement is just crazy. That's possibly my first criticism this season as i try now to vear away from it as i do think it's pointless. I just hope Bailey was suffering from a small knock.

I swear a lot , believe me I’ve sworn today I want dfc to go forward
Board needs a change NOW
I don’t post on here much now because I got bored with some posters on here
Not reading posts properly and having a balanced view
I just hope there is a change over the summer
And I for one want TB back in
Just my humble opinion
Lincoln exile wrote:Matt- Charlie's ankle injury HAS been reported by the club, as has Phil Robert's absence. Our on-loan striker, Darren, was injured training with Sutton, his own club. Like you I had assumed that in those circumstances Kudus and/or Delano would be recalled from their loans, or even Dan Derbyshire.
Wouldn't have made any difference today I'm afraid - it was the Club Spirit missing! Not the players.
Sorry W Hoops - I don't believe in that. If we have the right players in the starting line up and they are performing well then we don't need to worry about 'Club Spirit'. A few of the lads had a decent game today, a few had shockers. I believe every Dartford player who started the match wanted to win and had the right spirit.
However, I've certainly never walked out of any match with twenty minutes remaining before though. I will be at PP on Monday watching through gritted teeth. Any news on Vose? was he injured? No idea why Wells was between the sticks after the brilliant season Vose has had.
It really does seem like we are a football club that does not want to go up people will vote with there feet and crowds will dwindle
I must apologise to the person I had a go at this week about being negative it seems he was right. We as fans who watch home and away deserve a explanation on what has happened the last 4 or 5 games and unfortunately the management team are not good enough and we need to bring someone new in it may cost but we cannot afford just to sit and let our club backwards

Palacedart I agree TB should never gone, I will wait for the haters to hate me!
An honest assessment from AF, direct quotes from post match interview. Some damming comments about recruitment and "some" players.
“I think it’s probably up there as one of the worst Dartford displays I’ve ever seen being a player on in the short term manager here, 100%,” admitted Flanagan, who spoke for nearly 15 minutes in the post-match press conference.
“It’s very, very disappointing. I think a few players showed that they’re not good enough to be at the club. They haven’t got the heart or the passion to want to win games or achieve good things and that was evident today out on the pitch.
“We’ve got players that I think are already got their mind on playing elsewhere or the season ending and that’s a crying shame really to everyone whose come and travelled down.
“It’s very concerning that we’ve got seven players that have disappeared in the last two weeks through injuries or other various bits and pieces and probably six of those might’ve started and when you’ve got 50% of your team maybe not playing it’s easy to find an excuse but there was no excuses for today, there is no excuses for today.
“The players we put out there are not under 18s, there’s a lot of seasoned players at this level. They should have more than enough about them to be beating teams at the lower end of the table!
“I think those players have had opportunities to showcase what they’ve got and these are players that haven’t have started as many games as they would have liked but just the overall performance was inept.
“The thing that hurts me the most is the lack of passion really. The lack of passion for themselves as individuals to want to beat their player that they are playing against. The lack of passion to push this club forward and at least show the people, our fans, they expect the mandatory requirements of working hard and showing desire and showing passion and playing for the badge and they’ve always had teams that have had that and over the last few weeks we haven’t shown it.
“When you beat teams like (second-placed) Woking at home and away and you beat (fifth-placed) Bath at home and you show what you’ve shown in February to the way it’s gone in the last two months or the last six weeks, injuries to one side, it’s massively concerning to me and it’s an issue then.
“Jamie (Coyle) and I are honest and we’ll hold our hands up and I’ve gone in after the game and I’m looking at myself and thinking do you know what? Today is our fault really. We didn’t recruit well enough, after February we had a strong team in there who were hungry to push Dartford on and achieve big things but after today show I massively question that!”
