Elliot Bradbrook and Lee Noble are unlikely to ever care about anything other than winning games and not losing them.
With a depleted squad, Elliot going off was inevitably a major inbalance to the available set up, and yes, we fell short.
There was no one to point fingers at on the Pitch during the 90 minutes,- just the simple fact that the availability didn't match our need, once Elliot was injured and off after 15 . They won. Getting angry with the facts behind the loss,
seems pretty futile at present..
I'm more impressed that Elliot shook every Players hand as they left the Pitch, and Nobes took 'that moment' to show one and all how much it all still means to him. And we move on.

Bit harsh there DK!! I think 2/3 other regulars would take offence to that quote & rightly so??
Please tell me m1 who you think hasn’t been part time , on loan or any good this season apart from noble ?
Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat April 13th.
Massively depleted squad yesterday with several players missing for reasons known and unknown!!
As for the game I would not criticise any of the lads who played yesterday as other than the first 20-25 minutes when there seemed to be an air of doom and gloom around the whole ground they gave it a go, the uncertainty of what appears to be going on behind the scenes is clearly having an effect on the whole club. If there are some who don't want to be here, can't be bothered or there are disciplinary issues get rid of them now and play the youngsters.
With the amount of absentees it was always going to be difficult and on top of that we have been poor for the last few games but IMO Chippenham are one of the worst teams we have played this season so on current form what does that make us?
Another tactical decision which left me baffled yesterday was playing Bradders at centre half when we had two centre halfs on the pitch, one playing in Bradders centre midfield role the other at full back!! I said it when we played Nobes out wide and had three wide men available and will say it again now, if we have to play players out of position to cover for others who the management think are not as good to start in their natural positions there is something very wrong. Jordan Wynter is a pretty decent centre half and should have started there.
Good to see Pughy back but hope he takes it easy as we need him for next season.
Mention to the fans yesterday who stuck by the team and continued to support them right until the end.
Whilst Coker wasn’t dreadful today if it has got to the stage where he wins sponsors MOTM god help us. The only saving grace can be that in the past the sponsors MOTM votes have been laughable so I’ll just take it that was the case yesterday as well.
MOTM between Noble and Wynter.
There have been a few comments re Adam & Jamie but I would be absolutely amazed if our board was even considering a change. Therefore imo it is certain they will be staying but for me I don’t think joint managers work. There have been some strange decisions this season, players playing out of position, player signings/loans in and out etc. so contrary to what anyone may say, two individuals cannot agree on everything. So if as I expect they are both staying then ONE of them should be manager with the final decision and the other assistant.

Ozy. Why do you say we've blown it. I understand if you feel that you cannot currently see a victory coming. But to all surely now is still the time to support as we all do claim to be supporters. The booing at the final whistle really dissapointed me. Yes it's not been good. But we are still in their fighting. All the talk of last year this last year that. The league was weak last year and Tony did this Tony did that bring him back dont bring him back is all irrelevant. We are where we are no one needs me to tell them that. Whatever happens surely we raise the roof at the remaining 3 games. I'm in Spain over Easter watching the under 16s but i for one will be heading away to Oxford to see us reach a play off place. Now let's all stop pointing although i do understand people venting but surely it's COYD it is for me anyhow

Arty, for me we've blown it. If by some major miracle we make the play-offs then I'd be the first to say I got it wrong. But....
You keep saying that 'now is the time to support', you said that before this game, and I do. Because, let's face it, what players come on here and read this stuff?
I didn't boo and I'm not asking for TB to come back. Hope you enjoy your trip to Spain and I certainly hope you enjoy your trip to Oxford. Nice place.
And, COYD's. Nuff said.

Must admit mate i don't recall hearing any booing at the final whistle, in fact i think the crowd yesterday was good and got behind the lads because they could see they were at least giving it a go.Arthur Horsfield wrote:The booing at the final whistle really dissapointed me.

Can I ask why? Not that I participate in it, or ever would participate, but for fans that spend their hard earned money week in week out surely they are allowed to voice their opinion in whatever way they wish within reason.
We've gone from missing out on promotion on Goal difference last year to a team looking like a mid table team with nothing going for us, just a few lucky results have given us a mathematical chance of playoffs. So I think those fans are allowed to express their disappointment and annoyance at the current state of the management/players.
Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat April 13th.
I have had my moan, back to positivity
All we can do is to fight and give our all,
Whoever is playing, there are 9 points to play
for and that is the target.

Re: Dartford v Chippenham Town Sat April 13th.
Of course anyone who uses their hard earned has a right to speak. However in my mind rightly or wrongly that cannot have a positive affect. It did happen and was heard by the staff. No problem that's up to you. But we are on the fringes of the play offs ( and yes we were doing better) but we have performed admirably over the months. Just because it has gone a little awry In in my own small little mind doesn't warrant any of the " well if this or if that" nonsense. Now i will be challenged/criticised/slagged for defending whatever. However COYD is the rallying call from Arty.
