Twins closes in dartford
With the closing of the restaurant will that end the sponsorship and have they paid all the money
Re: Twins closes in dartford
I passed there recently & thought it looked rather shabby. Their website says it has closed due to the lease expiring & seemingly the Bexleyheath & Gravesend restaurants are still open. The club did invite offers for shirt sponsorship for next season quite recently so has not come as surprise to them.

I’ve not been to the Princes Road one but I’ve been to the one in Bexley & Maidstone.Happy chappy wrote:Has anyone tried the new steak house where there use to be the harvester on the Princess Rd?
Good food & lovely steaks but it is expensive.
Re: Twins closes in dartford
I had been a fairly regular user of this Harvester but haven't yet been to the steakhouse - but the flyer I was given on my last visit did indeed suggest the prices would be higher. Not surprising since my waitress told me they were seeking to move upmarket to a higher standard of clientele.

A "higher standard of clientele" ha ha ha. That's why they didn't let me in.
Seriously though, I've been there twice but only eaten once. On the first occasion the food was very good albeit a little expensive, but I did think one or two of the staff were unnecessarily rude to some other customers. Our server was great so it wasn't enough to put us off revisiting, but on the second occasion my wife passed the inspection but I was deemed to be unacceptably attired by the spotty 12 year old on reception. He told me I would have to go home and change into the suitable clothing. No Dartford FC badges, no trainers, no tracksuit bottoms, etc. I'm not entirely sure what you can wear as that seems a bit arbitrary, but honestly, the place isn't worth the effort. I don't hold grudges of course, but I have made it my mission in life to destroy all Miller & Carter restaurants.
We went to Cafe Rouge instead, apparently they'll let in any old riff raff.
