We played our 'get out of jail' card there. We just didn't seem to get started. I agree with thecomments on H&R's time wasting tactics but only to the point that in the second half they suddenly realised they could win the game. Bonner and Vint couldn't handle Dickson, who I thought, had a splendid game. His pace was electric.
Too many of our players were not playing. Wynter, Bonner and Vint for once weren't at the races, and Haysie?? McQueen had to come on but when he did I felt we lost some shape. Phil went walk-about and didn't get that involved once Darren was on.
Once again, we stuttered and went back to our old ways. We take one step forward and two back after having a very good run. Wealdstone are hot on the heels and unless we get back to winning ways may find we could miss out on the play-offs.
Up until McQueen came on I thought that Phil was playing with a passion as a guy who's scoring goals does and he just shades my MOTM, closely followed by Dan and Lee.
But for me we need to buck our idea's up. Hopefully, as said, we have Elliot back next week. But that is no guarantee with that performance. :?

Boy, that was some wicked deflection. I think I was blowing that one in.

Hampton were obviously up for it and didn't let us settle but their time wasting which started early in the first half made the game as enjoyable as a visit to the dentist. We were better when Darren McQueen came on with his pace upfront. On the plus side we got a draw when we could have easily lost but now we are looking over our shoulder at Wealdstone who are coming on strong and Chelmsford keep winning and I suspect they will finish 3rd.
Off day????
Darts have had plenty this season, thats why so few goals have been scored and attendances down.

Oh come on!!! Let’s not go back to that old argument? Agree we have had a mixed season, but recently we have improved dramatically compared to the beginning of the season, yesterday’s performance wasn’t what we had expected but we battled on and ended up with a point, which we would not of got early on in the season, and if not for a great save at the end, we would have snatched all three?

Not the best of games to watch and I thought a fair result overall though was it a penalty? H and R certainly thought not but there again not sure they agreed with any decision. A strong team out there but just didn't happen. Nether keeper had a lot to do but a great tip over from Sherringham at the end. Now that could of lifted the spirits if that had gone in

Not at all Home and away, thought those three had a poor game. I for one have been leading the plaudits on how well the back four have been playing and that it was due to them that we have had the good run recently. But yesterday! As I said, Dickson left them for pace, Bonner was lumbersome, Vint didn't know what to do with it half the time and Jordan was too slow and got caught a few times. Even Onyemah was too slow.
The team in general looked lethargic. Having said that Dan played very well when he came on.
I am sure (hoping) it was just a blip and will be looking to correct it against Truro. Which will not be an easy game either. I noticed they may have let a few in but have scored a few too.

Yes, Tridart, one tends to forget that incredible effort from Charlie and a good save from the keeper. That and Dickson's goal the two highlights of the game.

Yes Tridart is was 100% a penalty . Noble was never going to get to the ball so it was a stupid and rash challenge by the defender, he did not have to do it. He swung at the ball completely missed it and took Lee's legs out from underneath him

we all said before the game that the next seven games were going to be a struggle and so it proved yesterday,we looked well of the pace and our midfield looked wide open again, thought it was going to be one of them frustrating games when they were time wasting after ten minutes reminded me of grimsby here come and get one goal and then do everything to get everyone wound up.
so six games to go i think we will still be in the play offs but it could come down to the billericy game at home to decde positions.
