Nobby2, did you happen to leave early by any chance? I lauded Ben in person after the game for his indefatigable runs down the wing until the very end, more noticeably I thought once he had switched over to the right wing. Take nothing away from Ryan, who had a decent game and a pinpoint cross to supply Roberts for his sublime volley, but some of Ben’s trickery yesterday was masterful.

Either that or we are all subliminally united in keeping the forum player of the season vote up for grabs.

I actually enjoyed the game yesterday, purely because we never looked like losing and we were a constant threat in front of goal. I have to agree with Nobby, it was Ryan who provided all of our opportunities and some of his best chances went begging when it was easier to miss than put the ball in the net. I don't think that its coincidence that since Ryan has come back that we have started to play our best football again, all I know is that when he finally calls time on his career, along with TB's other DFC old boys, then we will actually find out how good our management team are. In short, I feel that the old guard are carrying some of the other signings. This may sound harsh but we won't know for sure how C & F will fair once the old guard have gone.

The goal from Phil is as good as you will see at any level and I think that its fair to say that he will be in the shop window again. If he carry's on in the same manner I can't see him being with us too long, he is certainly looking a class apart from our other forwards.

I hereby pledge never to buy anything from the people that advertise in the Vanarama League highlights. For crying out loud ...

How can we play the way we played at Dulwich and just 1 week later so comfortably beat Gloucester. This seems to be a season of highs when we play really good attractive football and then lows where we seem to have 11 players who have never met and have never played football before. yesterday was a really good all round performance as can be seen by 9 players having MOTM nominations. I really hope we see a similar performance next week against Torquay and not a copy of the way we played at that same stadium against Truro. I am very confident the crowd will be bigger this time.

A lot of fuss being made about not much more than a tap in :D . I watch the videos on the League site with no adverts, I must be doing something right, don't know what it is, but I must be doing it.

They use clips from DFCTV anyhow. The longer highlights are now on Youtube.
