Jonty wrote:Very nostalgic Skip, can't believe Pat Morrissey was still playing after he left us, he never looked young and as for Steve Norman, he was one to forget as I recall. Slough have a similar history to us and I found their site very informative. What a great read.
Pat Morrisey played for another 10 years after he left Dartford but I don't think that Steve Norman ever played for Dartford.
According to the club history book there have been two Steve Norman's who have played for the club.
1, P1990-91 Central defender signed from Enfield.
2, P2006-7 to 2008-9 Left sided defender who signed from Folkestone, played in the Ryman north title winning team for the Darts made 73 appearances scoring four goals. I must say I don't remember them.

I remember him. We used to sing: “There’s only one Steve Norman, one Steve Norman!”

How foolish we must have sounded.

We are strengthening the team and we are getting rather excited by it. But we are forgetting Slough Town. Although I have driven into the coach station many a time. One tends not to forget.
Up the Darts, would love a win tomorrow.

When I saw that Oneyuga and Sam-Yorke had gone out on loan I hoped it meant we would be signing another forward. This is good news, Darren has a lot of ability.

Ankle injury, according to Steve Tervet. Unfortunate timing, the day after two strikers go on loan.
