Darts v Bath City (Sat 9th Feb, 3pm)
Re: Darts v Bath City (Sat 9th Feb, 3pm)
Drivel if you disagree The Don. Surely going against the Ethos. Hey these posts just highlight what people have said. And if you talk about numbers who are leaving the forum have a chat around the ground what a lot of fans (and officials) think about the forum. Many have liked the approach. So I'm sorry if it hurts. One thing I do get though is we are passionate

What an excellent performance - every player put in a shift and we played some fine football with the ball on the floor and with a bit more luck/composure could easily have scored 2 or 3 more goals.
This has been a really good week for us and the players must be full of confidence. Hats off to the managers for getting it all just about perfectly right.
Two top class goals and a nice cross and finish for Charlie with MoM performances all over the pitch.
I give my MoM to Ryno not just for his ability to beat a defender and put in such good crosses but also because he chased back and made a defensive nuisance of himself, even heading the ball a couple of times.
Keep it going like this and we may well have something serious to celebrate at the end of the season.

Nice to know that Arty hasn't lost the art of reminding all and his dog that they were WRONG. I for one Arty thought that the 'two lads' had lost the plot and it's nice to be proven wrong. But for goodness sake get off your horse, you are beginning to get quite annoying.
The posts that have been 'upping' the teams performances lately have coincided with Adam's pre-match talk in the programme yesterday in which he said 'over the last few weeks I have really felt us coming together as a club on the pitch'. Because, let's face it, they weren't exactly playing as a team prior to that.
So in some ways Spike's and others comments, including me were not far off the mark Arty. But boy! You're not going to let it go, are you. To the point where you are becoming irritating.
Anyway, to the game. The best we have seen ALL season with once again, the back four solid. If I could vote for all 4 I would. But of course there were other players on the pitch who gave their all. Front line played well and Phil's goal was the pick. I stood behind Lee when he launched his rocket and what a goal it was. Referee was excellent throughout, and City's advance play was very good but obviously the final ball was well short.
So, again, back 4 excellent for me and today I have given my vote to Daniel, purely as he's next on the rota. Pushed hard by Jordan Wynter. If they keep playing as they are, next up Tom Bonner.
But a good performance all round Arty, do you agree?

I have to agree with Ozy. The back four were outstanding. They looked very tight as a unit and stifled every move Bath made. If the best teams are built on solid defences then the omens are good for DFC for the rest of the season. But one game at a time. Slough up next.
Lee Noble's opener was reminiscent of a Peter Taylor goal away to Chelmsford (I think?) years ago. Sublime.

Two great goals from Lee and Phil.
Great cross from Hayesy for Charlie's goal.
The defence was impressive
Also, good to see Murph back in the fold
Keep it going lads, very good performance.
I agree with Parky, the referee did have a good match.
IMO

Enjoyed watching that, thanks for posting, one question, Phil Roberts should be signed on a 2 year contract!

One last comment from me, Arthur, you have set out to divide the fans and provoke unnecessary debate, you don't make sense at all and you just come across as a prat. Let it go man, everyone is entitled to an opinion and most balanced fans tell it how they see it and have seen it.Arthur Horsfield wrote:Drivel if you disagree The Don. For my opinion is the management got it wrong at the beginning with questionable player recruitment and a never seen before at Dartford masses of loan players to paper over the cracks. However just recently there are real signs that the team is more settled, gelling and playing like a unit. This augers well and gives the fans optimism for the rest of the season and our prospects for next season.
So for me you should just stop sniping at the majority on here and chill as some of those you are pissing off are lifelong fans who have served the club well.

Wrong Keb, I don't think Arty can cause a division. We all know where he's at, and now he's being taken with a pinch of salt. which is sad. He has passion for the club as do a lot of us, he just likes his better.
