Managing is easy ask Thierry HenryOzymandias wrote:At one point I wondered where the referee had got to until he stepped out from behind Lee Noble. I too would have voted for Lee but I get bored with the same old same old.
I do like these supporters that voice their opinion at the ground. On the way out after the game a chap was obviously voicing his opinion to all that was walking toward him. Apparently, 'two don't work', he was I presume, referring to our joint managers, that or the lack of turnstiles open on the way in before the game. (That spooks me also, as it was Wilkie, bless him. I never look at his eyes.
Anyway, I digress. What is it with supporters that feel they have to tell all and sundry instead of going round and having a chat with those he's berating.
There's also a lad, well, he's younger than me, stands behind me. He know's how they should be playing, and what they should be doing. These two should get together and sort it all out for everyone else. I don't mind them having an opinion, just don't share it with everyone else. Especially me.

To all those that want to ask questions about player availability, joint managers, playing style, loanees, academy players and brexit; you have your opportunity at the forthcoming supporters’ open evening. I have attended several of these and I get all my questions answered by the people making the big decisions, whether it be about the playing side or other club related matters.
P.S. we don’t really discuss brexit...

AH, I am not going to justify my quote of “Very well said Jonty”. His original posting was one of passion and melancholy following yet another disappointing result. Yes, we didn't lose the game; yes, we are on the fringe of the playoffs and yes, Flanagan and Coyle are very nice people, but we are under performing, constantly fielding a different starting XI and have a negative goal difference. And to be quite honest, looking back at the games themselves this season, I’ve struggled to recollect many of particular note. St. Albans 3-2 at home was quite good, maybe because on the day we tripled our average goals per game ratio.
I don’t want anyone in particular out of the club, as I know that everyone connected works hard and does the best they can, all I will say is that like many other people, I am sceptical that a joint management can deliver the full potential of a team and our somewhat revolving door policy does nothing to satisfy me otherwise.

Fair enough Mikey. I simply get a tad upset whilst we all know its a forum and all that, that Management and everyone alike can view the forum and some criticism I honestly believe it's harsh. To single out just one ot the pairing I believe is really tough. If viewed it cannot be a positive surely. But that's the idea of discussion I guess

Arthur; you shouldn’t get so upset by what people write on this forum, after all it is only opinions and observation’s by supporters who have every right to express their points of view whether we agree or not? That’s the point of a forum, (we all love our club)
You say that JC and AF are great guys? and I am sure that most fans would agree, I don’t think their personalities are in question?
You say that they view this forum? If that is so; then good, they can see fans comments and then take them “on board”
Every Fans Forum in the Country there will be criticism by disgruntled fans when their team are not doing well, and even when they are? (Fussy lot aren’t we?)
I am sure that AF and JC are old enough and ugly enough (not a criticism

I think that we all as Darts Fans would love a slice of “Humble Pie” at the end of the season, and with Bradders serving it on a cold plate?

So Arthur ; “Please Keep Calm And Carry On”

Very well said.
Don't need anyone being DFC Police on here do we? How dare anyone even think of criticizing? Of course anyone is entitled to an opinion, I've given mine enough over the years, simply said, this is still a work in progress and we are not any where near winning the title, I'm sure everyone connected with DFC harbors that ambition.
Have a super day Darts fans.

EKOA. DFC police what a lot of nonsense. Surely my saying I dont think it is right for anyone to say on a personal basis that JC would be better off not being there is not policing but also an opinion. I do think that is a dreadful thing to post. Not about policing I'm disagreeing with anyone posting that. ( i think that is extremely personal and whilst i realise its a forum it dissapoints me a FAN would POST this although they may believe it. Also An opinion)
p.s. he did very well at Welling with a loaded gun at his head. And currently he and Adam I believe are doing well. A point of view that I believe you find is shared hugely by the powers that be.

Re: Dartford Vs Concord 26th Jan
Yes I'm sorry that is Athur here again but it's a viewpoint that I share with passion and want to state. If a fan came on the forum and simply said I wish the current manager who they think wasnt doing a good job should be replaced by this manager then i could live with that without a problem. To single out one of the current two is totally personal. Nobody outside the playing or background staff or directors can be sure of anything going on behind the scenes. So this statement is wrong. We are currently a team shaping for promotion and a good go a what could be a long stint in the upper league. Its hard we all know that. As I said before if anyone thinks it's just a case of getting a new manager/s after TB make a number of signings do plenty of training sessions run around a bit on match day then we win the league we all SHOULD know tjat isnt going to happen. TB was the victim of his own success. Possibly our greatest manager and DEFINITELY in the top 2. He built what also may have been our greatest side and as we all know the pro clubs came calling. Now the following years were also about reforming and regrouping and he did that. Pushed us to title tilts. A lot of you will say yeah yeah we know a lot of this but my point it is time. Not 6 months and why aren't we winning. Yes some may say we look good this week and poorer the next but surely in such a competitive division I'm sure that 90 per cent of clubs will be saying the same.
(End of war and peace by AH) sorry but felt wanted to say this and EKOA its only an opinion.

I'll make it easy, you have a bee in your bonnet about anyone posting stuff that is remotely bordering on criticism and that is why I mention Police as I see no one else operating in the way you are. All the folks at DFC are good guys and for sure we have known them many years and I for one have sunk considerable time, effort and cash to help the club along the way, especially pre 2006. Let it go!
