What's the situation with red cards earned in county cups? Suspensions apply in subsequent league matches, presumably? With effect from when? If we can't get a loan keeper in (Berti?), does that mean young Nicholls will have to be given a chance?

Apparently, this wasn't considered a "First Team Match".
So, no need to panic & call Berti, it shouldn't affect the League. Just need to check again.

I had very low expectations but despite the freezing conditions and blustering snow, this was actually a really competitive and very entertaining game. For the second game in a row, our efforts deserved a better outcome than we got. Bailey's penalty save in the first half was outstanding but then he spoilt it by getting sent off for such a clumsy challenge. At that point I thought we were done for, but credit to the lads, they really gave it a go and Kudus so very nearly won it for us when he hit the woodwork in the last minute. Credit to Ben Greenhalgh for stepping up and going in goal. He didn't get near any of the penalties but he made a decent save near post, with his legs. I wasn't too bothered about the KSC before the game started, but we clearly gave this a real good go and by the end I was gutted that the players didn't get the result they deserved. I know we've just lost two on the spin, but I'm really encouraged by how we've played.

My MOTM has to be Lee Noble. His work-rate tonight was bordering on ridiculous.
