Re: IT'S SATURDAY AND CHELMSFORD
Very disappointing Saturday, I thought Chelmsford were there for the taking they huffed and puffed without really hurting us. But one goal was never going to be enough and though Phil Roberts had a good game he did miss two chances to put us 2 nil up and game over, the golden chance in the second half when their keeper raced out to hoof the ball away from Coker but put it instead to Phil on the edge of the penalty area and he mishit it straight back to the keeper. Our support was good but we had to endure the Chelmsford pissheads giving us some stick after the game ended and they had the 3 points. I noticed Alex Wall was sent off yesterday does that mean he will miss next Saturday's game?

It was a straight red card but I think it doesn’t start for another week or so.
I think it’s normally about 10 - 14 days from the offence that the ban kicks in.
Coni Prem onwards is straight away.

Suspensions kick in 7 days after the offence, at our level....

Gutted by that. It's always a tough place to go, but to be so near the end with the 1-0 win and come away with nothing is a tough one.

Disappointed to lose this so late on. Was texting my mate because he was my only source. Kent, fecking useless and this isn't exactly riveting during the match now. So again I picked up my book and relied on a friend. I text him and said the game had gone on too long and we needed a second or something would come along and bite us in the arse. When he said that Chelmo had scored and then immediately after he said 'twice' I thought 'well feck me'.
Pete's reference to it being 2-2 on agg with a maybe meeting in the play-offs sends shivers down my spine. Thing is, I don't know why anymore.

Follow the match on the club's twitter account. No need to join twitter & there are plenty of updates, right from the time of arrival at away grounds until the final kick. For an alternate view, or on the odd occasion our service is unavailable, have a look at our opponents twitter account. Its almost magical, our strong tackles turn into nasty fouls, & fouls against us turn into strong tackles, although to be fair due credit was given to Chelmsford's equaliser & it is nowhere near as tribal and biased as forums can be. Many thanks to those, of all clubs, and particularly ours, who provide this sort of service for those of us not at the games.

Perhaps we'll see a season decider in the play-offs....
You're a little bit hopeful that we can make the playoffs. No chance with our inability to defend set pieces, mainly corners and when we lose concentration in the last 10 minutes of games. We throw away too many points. As much as I'd like to see us steal a playoff win, I can't see ourselves even being there unfortunately. Something needs to change and fast; we can't go from losing out on the title by goal difference to then being a mid table team.
