Strange... as I came into the ground, two separate sets of supporters were going out to check on their vehicles which I thought was odd at the time.

Edit: this article popped up on my news feed this morning about cloned / stolen plates being used for ram-raids and fuel drive-offs, so to anyone affected by this, be extremely vigilant and inform the authorities immediately if you have not already done so.

For those of us behind the goal we had quite a social chit-chat with their keeper during most of the match which sums up how little we troubled him as apart from the two goals we scored from headers we didn't have a shot at the goal all match.
The early goal for us got the fans fired up but we then drifted back into the more usual performances that we have seen lately from the players and then we conceded goals and lost a player to join one half of the management team in the stand.
But we started to see more passion and effort from the players into the second half and once we had drawn level we were by far the better team and there was the possibility of a win but it didn't quite come off.
If we can maintain the second half performance and work rate that the team put in and use it against Welling throughout the match then we have a chance of a win something that I wasn't considering before and I am looking forward to the game on Tuesday.

Theft reported and new plates different from stolen ones ordered, they should be safe at PP on Tuesday where I'm hoping for our best Christmas period performance for the full 90 minutes!

Don't worry kipper, the thieve's are still working on the ambulances to worry about cars just yet.
So, according to Park Life we were down to ten men from the KO. No wonder we got our game just right for the second half.
Will be there on Tuesday, just hope the team turn up.

I had my plates nicked once when parked at an Ebbsfleet v Dartford match. I reported it at Dartford police station to a copper who couldn't find a piece of paper so scribbled down what I was telling him on the side of a cigarette box that he pulled from his pocket. As I was leaving he said, "If they turn up, let us know". I just looked at him and said "How is that likely?", he looked confused and just said "Well it could happen". Presumably he thought I might get home and then discover I had left the number plates in my other jacket pocket.

Anyway, as for the football, we started brightly, lost our way and then came good again in the latter part of the second half. The spirit and determination shown towards the end was encouraging and it's pleasing that we were the team really going for the win even though East Thurrock had the extra man (until "chopper" Harris departed very late in the game). I would have given odds of at least 10,000 to 1 on Danny Harris getting sent off twice in one season, LOL.

I can't believe the day has come where we are actually satisfied with a draw against possibly the worse team in the division. Two early cup exits, slowly sliding down the table and one of our manager's insistence on using the same failing players. I bet Ryan & Bradders wished they never returned.

Anyway, there were certainly some talking points going by the video.

Does anybody know whether Noble is available for the Welling game.
