Merry Christmas to the DFC community.

My association with the club is certainly nowhere near as long as some ( and the gap between me attending the FA Trophy in 1974 and my next Darts game in 2005 may well be some kind of record ! ) but I still get the same buzz attending games at PP as I did when I walked in for the opening game at 11th November 2006. A lot of that is down to the friendship of everyone I know, half-know and am on nodding-terms with all around the club. Special best wishes to my fellow directors ( who never read the forum ), the management team, Jack, the players, the Supporters Club, community team and all the matchday volunteers. Also to the media and announcing team who sit alongside me at home games, particularly my immediate neighbour Gary who is responsible for me not seeing a single nearside, right hand corner for more than eight years.

Nice video Jeremy. Can’t believe the big day is finally here so just another 24 hours until all the ridiculous songs, jumpers, films, et cetera give way to normality again. Bums to Christmas - no one ever has a good one anyway.
