Started really well and should have been in front but they got back into it first half and 0-0 at HT was about right.
Second half they started the better and it was only after they scored that we decided to get going again but overall a fair result.

A few too many needless offsides today but a good all round effort considering the absentees.
Taylor Fisher at left back my MOTM.

I was bemused by the team selection at first, but it all made sense once I became aware of the facts. A decent game of football to watch, with Darts having the best of the first half and Borough the second. It was a nice finish from Kudus to earn the replay, but I wish he was a bit more savvy about staying onside. Nevertheless, everyone did okay and overall, a draw was probably a fair result. In fact, considering how depleted we were, this has to go down as a moral victory. Ben Greenhalgh, Lee Noble and Ronnie Vint all had standout games, but the highlight of the day was young Taylor Fisher who didn't put a foot wrong and gets my vote for MOTM.

Another good day for Flanners and Coyley and yay, we've got a midweek match to look forward to.

Spike as well as Taylor played did you not think the match turning point was Jamie philpot , a striker, being asked to come on by the bosses play just behind our forward line. And I'm serious when i say he produced. In my opinion he was both the turning point and then of course the motm

Yes, I agree Philpott's arrival turned the game back our way but he wasn't on long enough to be a contender for MOTM. If Charlie and Jamie are back together up front on Tuesday I fancy our chances. If Tom B & Bradders are back as well then even more so.

… and I'm still waiting for the day when Ryno and Ben are on the flanks with Jamie & Charlie up top.

With low expectations, this match was pretty enjoyable. Hayes’ miss in the first few minutes was woeful and a real let-off for the home side, but minutes later he served up a trademark cross for Coker who caught the ball with a backheel volley in mid-air which would’ve been on the news this morning had the keeper not tipped it over.
I felt Kudus had his best game yet in a DFC shirt, seemingly seizing the opportunity to shine through in a heavily altered team, in a different competition. Something about his attitude just made me happy yesterday. It was also nice for some of the younger players to come upstairs on the bus back and join in some of the songs. We’ll have to do it all over again on Tuesday, but I’m rather looking forward to it this time.

In reply to the 5th searcher I think it's a bit harsh well very harsh to say Tom cried of at the last minute when in fact he is suffering from shingles

Good result bearing in mind the absentees.

Not good to see fellow fans sniping at each other, Arthur, let it go!
