Just in case anyone is wondering why there’s pictures on Twitter & Facebook of the players with a 20 shirt, then let me explain:
At the start of September, some of you might know that my 13 year old son was hit by a speeding drink / drug driver. It left him with a number of broken bones including a punctured lung - thankfully there’s no permanent or life changing injuries and he’s well on the way to making a full recovery.
On the back of his accident, I joined the Dartford Safer Roads team in their quest for introducing 20mph zones across Dartford - mainly residential roads and around schools. I approached Flanners and a number of the squad and they have kindly supported our campaign.
