Spike no one is on a bigger high than I. It's not a case of letting it go. It is a forum and i am simply trying to highlight the fact that there is a huge amount of fans on here thst are so fickle. But to take your point on board isnt it great to see the team going so well. TB built a team around the dressing room. We now have that back in place. A few weeks ago as many highlighted we simply had so many loanees in The side that there was no spirit. Now it looks to me to be back in abundance. Add to that a balance. Two wide men doing it. I thought Andre was once again very good and Ben has been consistently good all season. Then you have Mr Noble. That man never ever let's us down. Charlie doing it again. So many positives. The vibe is back at PP. Onwards and upwards and i can't wait for Saturday.

I thought we had it sewn up at half-time with a 3-1 lead but they came back strongly second half which surprised me considering they had a tough game at Tranmere Saturday and we didn't play. It was a very decent game of football and Oxford look a useful outfit. Lee Noble head and shoulders above as our MOM and another 3 points in our bin.

This is a really tight league.
Wealdstone 2nd on 29pts
Eastbourne 14th on 24pts
Any truth in the rumours that our on loan
Keeper is returning to Colchester this week?

Such a lovely word 'fickle', if you mean those ghastly people who dare voice how they feel (like you do) at any given time? I'm a say it how you see it person me, full of emotion at times, been there seen it know all about the highs and lows, as you so rightly say it's a forum and not a 'only post if you only have a 100% positive attitude and do not ever criticize anything or anyone'. That's why Jonty is correct in my opinion to say that so many great followers don't bother posting anymore, they gave up! couldn't be bothered!

I was unlucky enough to choose Hemel (0-0) at home as my appearance so far this season and described the affair as mediocre and got shot down like you wouldn't believe, but I'm not going to be dictated to by anyone no matter who they are for expressing an opinion.

100% WISHING WE HAVE SOME SUCCESS THIS SEASON!

We certainly didn't come out after the oranges at half time. Thought we hung on very well 2nd half against a very good Oxford City side, who must be gutted to have lost. Those 2/3 lads up front for them did everything but score and the ball, annoyingly, even in the wet, stuck to their boots. One touch and the ball was played on.
An entertaining game in which we defended 2nd half like it was the Alamo. City, luckily, forgot to bring the Mexicans. Nice to see Davy Crockett got his chance, but I did have to question our substitutions. Excellent first half from the lads in what should have been a 'no comeback 2nd half for the City'. But what an excellent game it was.
Coker showed speed on the right and took his goal well, Wynter, I thought is playing very well at the moment. So we can no longer say that these loan lads are not giving their all. Vint was superb at the back as was Mark O. but as said, Lee Noble was all over the place and some of his touches left players for dead at times.
Long may it continue.
Just one point, it took me 20 minutes to get from Princes Road lights into the Ambulance Graveyard, mainly I felt I needed to drop my mate off as close to the stadium as I could after he had recently left hospital. The way things were going I thought I was just going to turn around and go back out to find somewhere to park the car. What a shambles it was. Having got into the car park I was then shown to a parking bay (Surprise). But as I got there I found a chap standing beyond the space and to reverse in found he was in my way. He just stood there, knowing what he was doing. As I pulled alongside him I wound down the window and quite politely asked him to move, I even added please and thank you and Sir.
'No' was all he said and looked down at me. So as my reversing car actually made him move I felt really annoyed that a man in his late 60's early 70's would then go on to honour the fallen before the game. Twat.
What a world they fought for.

Hopefully the double over Bus Stop United at Xmas again this year will see us right in the mix.

Well I think you have already "highlighted" that on one or two previous occasions Arthur. My response is simply that we WERE absolute crap a while back and now we're not. You call that fickle, I call it reality. After last night's heroic efforts and the scintillating football on display, I would like to be talking about that but every time you bang the fickle drum, you invite people to respond and we'll end up discussing things like our disastrous pre-season recruitment, Alex Wall and such-like. If you genuinely want everyone backing the managers and getting behind the team then stop having a go at people when they make positive comments. It's such a shame because the rest of us have moved on and would like to talk about how well we played yesterday.

Much like those who have posted already as each person I spoke to on my way out we were all saying the same probably the best 1st half performance we have seen this season but what happened in the second half.
We could have had two more goals in the first half but missed them but second half we created nothing really until that bit of Ryno magic and what a shame it just hit the post with the keeper way up field.
An all action second half with our defence under so much pressure but succeeding in putting the ball any where to relieve the pressure as corners fouls and throw ins mounted but we held on to win.
My M.O.M. to Lee but please cut out those stupid fouls around the penalty area or those in retaliation as we don't want to give away dangerous free kicks or a suspension.

Arthur there were 8 of us sitting round a table in the bar and everyone to a man and several others I spoke to in general conversation about the forum whilst waiting for kick off all had the same opinion.
Most are either ignoring your posts completely or in some cases you have driven them away from the forum as they either don't understand the humour or are disgusted by you keeping harping back to last season or this seasons early comments by some of the fans.
I respect your opinions but just like Spike is trying to point out everyone is entitled to their opinions and in the past some fans have expressed their personal opinions about Tony last season and some have about the players/managers/performances for the early part of this season.
But please don't keep raking up the past because I've no doubt that most peoples opinions have changed mine included as we are starting to rally round get results and move up the table and we want as many peoples opinions expressed and read on this forum and whilst they may differ at times the next game and the next result are what matters and will unite the fans together and get behind the team.

Game of two halves for me last night, i could see Oxford nicking an equaliser at the end but we dug in deep & held out.
Vinty mom for me, seemed to block everything (And i can't keep giving it to Nobes!!)
Also a word of praise for Mr Whitton the Ref, kept the game going with just the one booking i believe, could have given Nobes a card or two but used his head & let common sense prevail!! Well done that man!!

Two good calls there, M1. Ronnie must be covered in bruises today after all the blocking he did last night. Real do or die stuff.

And the ref had an equally good game, keeping a very good game flowing and getting most decisions right. There were good performances all over the park but my vote did go to Nobes. The guy just seems to improve with age.

Two good sides really giving it 100%. Excellent stuff.
