Gloucester City, anyone?
Re: Gloucester City, anyone?
Dear Spike.
A wonderful peice of nostalgia. I believe that was the big match on a sunday lunchtime hosted by Brian Moore and of course Jimmy Hill pre Match of the Day times..The closest I believe in the modern era would have been last Good Fridays Dfc Hampton game. I would also like to point out all great teams contain a Noble. Once again Spike thank you for a touch of light heartedness. I remember Rosemary having to wash my shorts 5 times before the next game !!!
Over and out

Don Rogers what a player Swindon Towns equivalent of Haysie. I recall a League cup final at Wembley in the 70's when Swindon Town who I believe were in the 3rd Division then taking apart 1st Division Arsenal 3-1. Don Rogers was their main man that day.
