Here is a good reason for not registering for the new forum. And it's not Duke.
Agee 100%. Reg is a tool.
I have to agree The Don. Even by his usual poor standards, this latest outburst by Reg is bang out of order. How dare he question The Duke's loyalty to DFC.

I may not always agree with The Duke's views, but they always make for significantly more interesting reading than Reg's incessant drivel 😒. I know I'm not alone in hoping he doesn't register for the new forum.

I have known the Duke for severely years ,he is DFC through and through.
As for the game ,It was a fair result imo, although I was a bit annoyed at the constant stoppages from the referee.
On to the next game and hopefully 3 points.

Back to the match now 🙄

The usual honest assessment by Kingy. Fair play to Tonbridge who deserved thier point. We weren't up to the standards reached so far this season, just the occasional flashes... like Jebby's cracking goal! Bagadan didn't do enough, his first touches and delivery were poor. I'm a bit suprised we didn't start with Danny Leonard wide right against CBB. When he came on CBB fouled him and got booked within 5 minutes and we looked much better.
Motm for me was Meade, excellent at full back.

Ozy said "We are not giving the Tonbridge performance it's rightful place here".
!00% this from me, they came with an effective plan, it was up to SK and players to unravel it and find a positive way to respond. SK did to a degree with the Leonard sub and switch attack left to right, but 16 points from a possible 18 is still brilliant and we won't win every game, but need to make sure we get past the majority of other teams. The high expectation was we would get past the Angels but they are now stronger than many thought.

What I find from SK's interview, informative and explanatory, yes, but to ask him after 5 wins and 1 draw if he is looking at other players, I find incredulous. He has a strong squad with every position covered in reserve, why a need for other players at this time, unless of course the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo come along and say I want to play for you for free!! A manager will always be looking, listening and forming targets for the future, but not making changes after just six games and 88% success rate.

Finally, SK interviews, I am no technical sounds expert, but can nothing be done to cut down background sounds? In weeks past the sound has been blighted by gale force winds on a reasonably still day, yesterday sounded like Kingy was standing between the M25 and Biggin Hill airport! Not good for us disadvantaged old gits with hearing aids!

I was also impressed with Meade who got my MOM vote.

Onwards and upwards, COYD

Look ive spoken. Give yourself a day off. Its done. You need not worry. Im not. I along with hundreds of paying attendees through the turnstiles will simply watch the 30 of you, pay lip service when going well and then the slightest sign turn. But done it said it, if you guys need the final word its there for you.

Sad when Reg is slated for passionate about DFC, I hope he does keep posting on the forum, sometimes he is over the top but in my opinion the forum will be sadder place without him,

As for the match a draw was a fair result but still would have taken 5 wins and a draw for the first 6 games at the beginning of the season.

I think that the majority of fans have picked up on the points about the game so no need for me to comment much further on it.
However
Kebabus wrote
I think the exclusion of Leonard from the off was an error, we have been scoring for fun because of the service. Anyway results went our way and so we still top which is brilliant.

I’ve known the Duke for years and he’s a proper fan. Reg has been found out, he’s out of control and not my cup of tea, well done Dukie and The Don.

No wonder the take up of the new forum is 50 not 500.
Knowing Kebabus for a long time and also The Duke & The Don I have to agree not just with their comments on the game but also alas on Reggie :x
I do know Reg and we sometime talk on the terraces and in the bars before a game and good conversation is enjoyed with both of us passing comments that are always respected but naturally not always in agreement about the game the team etc etc.
But on the forum I generally read everyone's comments bar his now and only look at them when yet more attacks are made on other posters picked up on by their postings in defence of their comments.
Might I suggest Reg for the good of the website forum and possible future posters please continue to post your opinions of games players the team and forum posters comments in a respectful way and do not result to attacking them in a malicious way.
Another suggestion which may/may not be received well by you depending on how much alcohol has been consumed (happy or angry)
I also think we have heard enough from you about Steve King because I doubt that there is a single forum poster who is not in complete agreement with you on all your comments about him as a manager and how he runs the team and the teams position and results speak for themselves.
I have signed on already for the new forum and look forward everyone's comments on it next week including yours Reggie

The entire social media network is full of **** or stuff we don't agree with so if people didn't post because of that it would be great as the entire bloody network would then shut

But there is also some good stuff as well and i still like (and dislike :D :D) reading this forum so suggest we should ignore our differences, register for the new forum and support 180 as he has taken the time and effort to continue it. If nothing else he deserves our support.
