Here is a good reason for not registering for the new forum. And it's not Duke.
Indeed - that's what worries me. The Duke hasn't registered yet anyway and I could always ban people as a last resort if they don't behave.... :)
I only said I would take the forum over as I found it a useful source of info to keep my unofficial site going. I don't really need posters telling other posters to FO.

There are currently 50 registered users on the new forum that will go "live" in 2 days time (the link of which is mentioned in the blue banner at the top of this page).
Or being called a prick. Why be one sided. I commented as i did as i knew that aa soon as we dropped a point certain people would be on it like a flash. We have been sublime 5 from 5 before yesterday, but as soon as. Anyway as Spike said previously talk about the game. Dfc were not at their best but we still stuck to our guns and returned a point. Other results were good for us. 6 games down and 16 points wow . No one would have predicted that. Its points that will win us this league, be it Hollywood balls, or whatever and by jove we are doing well in that part at least

I'm not being "one sided". The FO was before the "pr..k" comment.

But anyway, if you can all play nice to each other in the new forum, that will make my life easier.
Thanks.

The team yesterday didnt seem as sharp as we have come to enjoy recently. Think Steve would say that. Any views on reasons why must surely be based on the fact that we have been brilliant previously. Bagasans selection was a surprise as he hadnt played any minutes previously, or at least i think not . Occams Razor springs to my mind again as it was surprise selection. However a hard earned point to add to the 15 before. Sitting top. Going well. Kentcs 3 players for Motm was spot on i think although add JJ as well for me Going to be a long season ahead but going to be enjoyable

The worst referee we've had since the whistle trigger happy John Hopkin, who totally ruined our match with Forest Green Rovers. I found myself following match reports of games he refereed after that dreadful day and to the fury of other managers his performances didn't seem to get any better.
He soon disappeared into obscurity. Sunday football maybe?
Yesterday's official could do worse than take the same path.
Although Tonbridge took their goal well it unfortunately stemmed from a blatant foul on Azeez which the referee inexplicably gave the other way.
As for the handball, the ball stuck to to their player's hand, who made no attempt to get his hand out of the way, but instead expertly controlled the ball to spoon it away from the danger zone.
Totally unacceptable.
If a referee can miss something like that then quite frankly he shouldn't be out there.

Steve King summed it up perfectly on Radio Kent at 5.20pm !!!!!!
No standout for MOTM but as Jebb scored a great goal and unlucky with super free kick then I have given it to him !!

I like Tonbridge Angels but really they are just a team of 100%ers and we should be disappointed to have only got a point today

We are not giving the Tonbridge performance it's rightful place here. Too busy passing the buck. Agree that the referee didn't help his or both clubs with any favours from that performance. Tonbridge didn't come and 'park the bus' as expected, they took the game to us and rattled us. Yes, I think that Wynter, Bonner and Hill did a great job as their front line was big and weren't afraid to mix it.
We didn't knock the ball around as much as previous games and got dragged in to their game, at which they were better.
Not a great day at the office and we'll not get many harder games than that one. Tonbridge are in a false position, we are not. A hard game, let's hope we pick up the thread next league game.
dartlion beat me too it re the new forum, sometimes threads do descend into verging on the ridiculous. I have signed up to it and hope that some decorum comes of it.
Gave my MOTM to JJ, mainly for his goal and hitting the bar in what was a stuttering team performance. Also, I get that Bonner is the captain, but to go half the length of the pitch to argue the point with a poor referee over a free kick to Tonbridge after already being booked is asking for further upsetting the rhythm of our performance. Annoying. And as for Braham-Barrett?? What a whinger.

Teams will come to Princes Park and get a lot of men behind the ball and play on the break and if they score first we could be in for a frustrating afternoon especially when accompanied by a poor referee. Perhaps Luke Wanadio could have unlocked the Tonbridge defence? we looked better when we played with width. Superb goal by Jack.
Quite a number of posters saying we didn’t play with width. We did, Bagashan was meant to play that role but was so ineffective there nobody noticed. Some would also notice that we’ve been playing with a wide player on the right this season (Wannadio or Leonard) and that’s worked superbly. Wynts has been excellent down the right too with a player ahead of him - yesterday he looked isolated going forward. My question - why the need to change a winning formula?

That’s what a forum is all about , good sensible questions! It didn’t pay off yesterday so all fair points, if it had we would be calling it genius!

Haven’t listened to SK’s post match interview yet, but am hoping that he explains the right wing selection and would be very respectful if he accepts incorrect selection. I actually felt that 1K got himself into good positions to receive the ball in the first half, but his touch occasionally let him down and there seemed to be no consideration beyond crossing when he did get the ball under control.
Speaking to John Pugh after the game, he passed comment that our 4 (Husin) and 8 (Murtagh) were totally ineffectual and that our team was crying out for a Noble and a Bradbrook. Of course, Noor had the game of his life last time out at PP, but I must admit to waiting for Murtagh to shine.
Glad that the unbeaten run continues and to be fair, Tonbridge were alright. Ref was a total breast though.

I think the exclusion of Leonard from the off was an error, we have been scoring for fun because of the service. Anyway results went our way and so we still top which is brilliant.

I’ve known the Duke for years and he’s a proper fan. Reg has been found out, he’s out of control and not my cup of tea, well done Dukie and The Don.

No wonder the take up of the new forum is 50 not 500.
