To achieve maximum points from our opening 5 fixtures, 4 of which coming against opposition who, and with good reason, harbour the same ambitions as ourselves is truly phenomenal.
Shame about the radio commentary which was quality unlike the transmission.
Something else to look forward to tomorrow, apart from the NLP and match highlights, is the Marc White interview.
Hopefully this will be a regular feature in the weeks to come giving us the same entertainment value we have all thus so far enjoyed this season.
Long may it continue.

Another 3 points and the Dartford machine keeps rolling on . This was almost a carbon copy of last week .Dominated in the first half and Bath coming back at us in the second right from the restart before we killed the game off at the end .

Ade scores Dartford’s 1st https://youtu.be/YpRavOaloFM

Jake Robinson scores Dartford’s 2nd https://youtu.be/jYHatQVcccU

George Porter scores Dartford’s 3rd https://youtu.be/b80_Ub2vxbg

Funniest thing was the Bath keeper winning MOTM 🤣🤣🤣

Bath supporters i heard were shocked by the amount of away support. Between 200 - 250 i would say . Bloody good effort that 👏👏👏

Four and a half hours to get there but luckily only missed a couple of minutes.

Bath started well but we soon got on top and deservedly went in 2-0 ahead at the break.
Second half they threw everything at us and looked a decent side but through a combination of good defending and a couple of good saves from Dan we only conceded the one. We still had our chances on the counter attack and when we made the subs the usual happened, we scored another late goal.
I mentioned it last week and i'm confident it will continue because we have four very good forwards and when we make the changes it creates all sorts of problems for our opponents and they just can't seem to cope. All four of them are scoring and playing well and will have a massive part to play this season.

MOTM for me was between Josh Hill and Dan Wilks as both did well when Bath put us under pressure in the second half. Decided on Dan as a couple of really important saves at crucial times.

Fantastic start to the season, well done Steve, his team and all the players.

COYD

Bath gave their MOTM to their keeper and i thought it must have been a mistake
How they never gave it to their No. 17 (Marlee Francois who i believe is on loan from Bristol City) is beyond me as he was a threat all game.

Seriously a quickie from reggie. Great turnout for a long journey. I have thanked Bath City on twitter for their hospitality, in fact one of the ladies behind the bar is a relative of Chris Dickson. But another great win, day and you know what its less than 7 days now to our next fix. Its beautiful to watch it really is a joy. The Bath manager must have been under massive pressure after losing 5 one last week and asked for a second half reaction and they gave it. Fair play. Big praise for Dan Wilks that save from six yards out was unbelievable and then the one on one, kept us in front. Brilliant. The 17 on loan from Bristol City was top top quality. Its wonderful being a Darts supporter, always has been but right now Reg is in 7th heaven

What a great day!!

First time I've been able to watch the Darts under Steve King. Expected a lot as a result and was not disappointed. Bath were a quality side and their 17 was their standout player IMHO - can't see how Mr Flapper, their keeper, hit MOM....

Really clued up manager calling the shots with some game changing substitutions. Quality players all workng for each other and some great defending and goalkeeping when we were under the cosh in the second half. Yes, Bath were on top for long periods but Darts got the impressive result they deserved - the scoreline says it all.

At the end the players didn't just come and celebrate with the fans - the whole collective showed real passion demonstrating they expect to get results like this regularly because they (to nick sometime else's phrase) believe in the process

A real feeling of being in at the early stages of something exceptional.

Great to see all my Dartford friends - I've really missed the camaraderie since abandoning my turnstile and moving to Taunton six years ago

Have to say TD in my opinion when you say Bath were on top for long periods of the game i have to disagree. The first 45 i thought we were excellent. So much joy down their left that we created and took advantage of. I backed us at 9/1 to score at least 4 goals today and really could have been at the payout counter by half time. Have to say something here... jordan Wynter... starting to make that right back position look comfortable. Maybe the first time for a long long while he has been selected in the same role and he can therefore show us his undeniable quality. On to the second half as i said earlier, their manager must have demanded a response in the half to come and by god he got it. But still we showed resilience and when they got through Dan was superb. They had a good period for sure TD, but what would you expect. They must have had the roasting of all roastings at half time and they responded brilliantly. But our bench .... when you have George P Dan R, Dan L, it goes on and on its amazing. Hey Reg is a string at times i know, but being positive, today showed for me just another strength in this quality side
