RIP Dave. Gutted.
Re: RIP Dave Eden (Charlieboy)
I am a relative of Dave's and I am trying to get in touch with whoever is organising his affairs after his passing. My mother was an Eden and my grandfather was related to Dave's Dad Len. I was born in Dartford and followed the team back in the 70's travelling to away games with Dave and his Father. I've been in regular, albeit infrequent contact with Dave in recent times (and I've been to several Dartford games with him since PP opened, including the opening game) and I've been trying to contact him very recently. You can imagine my shock when I took a look at this Forum and read the very sad news.
Gary C is trying to find out more for me but if anyone here has any more info, or can put me in touch with someone who has more info, please message me or reply to this thread. I would be most grateful - as would the rest of the family (there's three others who have the same relationship to Dave as I do).
RIP Dave - such sad, sad news

Re: RIP Dave Eden (Charlieboy)
Just to say that I have made contact with Dave's cousin Christine who has taken on responsibility for dealing with the aftermath of his passing. It seems that he died on 18 August from a heart attack and was found in bed by the Police after he failed to show for his regular dog-walking duties. Christine will be organising the funeral and I will let Gary know the details when we have them.
Good luck to Dartford at Bath tomorrow, and for the rest of the season. Dave will be very much there in spirit.
