Dartford Players of The Past
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
I forgot another ex Dart scored yesterday, Tom Bender. For the life of me I can't remember who it was against.

Tom Wynter's retirement didn't last long. He announced on Saturday that he's changed his mind and he's back in the Hythe Town squad.the futures white wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 11:00 am Tom Wynter has followed Nathan Collier's lead and decided to retire from playing.

Watching the big match revisited and Charlton have an 18 year old Tony Burman playing for them . Sure he had / has something to do with Dartford

Delano Sam-Yorke leaves East Grinstead Town to re-sign for one of his many ex clubs Mertsham.
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
All the ex Darts that all down at Hythe were involved in the WTF match of the day in the FA Cup . Hythe winning 2-0 in injury time and the game ends up at 3-3 with Hythe getting the last goal to rescue a reply . 4 goals in injury time , is that some sort of record ???
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
I see Burnsy scored today in their 7-0 win!
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Lee Burns ,doesn't he hold the record for scoring in consecutive games(eight I think)
Great utility player , could play anywhere and always gave100%

Ryan Hayes missed a sitter last night for Chatham in their FA Cup game at Ashford but then scored a left foot beauty into the top corner in a 1-1 draw . Chatham won the game on pens.
Re: Dartford Players of The Past
Jay May scored the Ashford goal. The game sums good old Ryan from absolute brilliance to Mr Bean level, I think it was part of why he was so popular, just what were going to get. Fortunately the good far outweighed the bad and he provided a lot of entertainment and excitement over the years. One of my very favourite Darts players over the years and although I appreciate people do have different views I just couldn't understand them. On the Kent Football website there is a report on last night's cup tie with a very good interview with Ryan. Sounds an entertaining and eventful encounter.

Lyle Della Verde has left Welling .
