That seems a strange thing to focus on, given how great the performance was and that despite the horrendous traffic problems caused by the road closures, the crowd was still more than 10% up on the previous few years opening games. Personally I think it was a decent crowd under the circumstances and if we play like that every week the numbers will soon grow.

Football aside , how brilliant Steve Irving was today . Last week I thought club acted rashly but today he alone clapped fans off and then alone communicated with fans and I applaud him. He’s not Noir was amazing , roberts to me was superb , we were dominant today , after ten games let’s see how good slough are but in my view they with a forward are decent

Imagine if I came on here after a great result and started slagging off the attendance there would be uproar!

Same energy needed for those that are doing so because they are clearly idiots that don't understand traffic/holidays.

Traffic really affected the crowd but to still get 1,004 shows we have made big progress from previous years. Definitely get close to 1,500 against Eastbourne bank holiday.

An amazing 90 minutes. What a team. A joy to watch. Football football football. I could go on about players etc. They are unbelievable, assembled by who i think is so so good, i apologise if its sickening but this club will not find anyone better. What a performance what a frigging performance. Hey this leader is the real deal he really really is

You missed a football master class. From the most amazing bunch of players that this club could assemble. Noor truly amazing but its unfair to single one man out. Ive never witnessed this enjoyment since the coupland years, yea TB was great but this is taking me back to years gone by. So exciting
