WOW - What a performance.

The quality of our play at times was exceptional and we could easily have scored a few more goals.
Every player looks comfortable in possession and happy to receive the ball in tight situations, we defended well again and looked a threat every time we attacked. Add to that the quality of the squad and how we've started the season it's great to be back in the ground watching and enjoying the great football on show.

You could make a case for several players today for MOTM, however one man was exceptional and wins my vote. NOOR HUSIN.
A class performance all game and when you also consider what he is having to deal with re Afghanistan it makes it even more impressive.

Attendance was in line with what i thought as normally the first game of the season very rarely has a large attendance (919 v St Albans in 2019) and with the chaos on the local roads today to get 1004 was a big improvement and if we carry on playing liker this no doubt it will get bigger and bigger.

Special mention to the fans today, i thought the support throughout was good and will get better if we continue to play like this.

A fantastic result today, thanks to Gilsey for the updates.
I look forward to Kevs goal footage 🤞 plus any highlights of the game. Hopefully I’ll make the next game away to Dulwich.

What fantastic display from the Darts , Slough are not a bad side we were just far too good and i think there will be a few teams on the end of a beating from this Dartford side .

Ade scores Dartford’s 1st https://youtu.be/yhh5jcrmqDA

Noor makes it 2 ( sorry for the bad camera work , not my best ) https://youtu.be/FTvzj-FgcsE

Porter makes it 3 for the Darts https://youtu.be/umgWaSgsNZ4

Traffic jams caused by road closures and the Dartford Crossing causing chaos in the town from early afternoon until the evening practically every blimming day now.
Living just off Burnham Road is akin to being under curfew from 8pm until 6am for 3 weeks due to road closures in the area. I join the queue at the road block every night to explain the reason for my journey.
Infact I feel more restricted now than at any time during the lockdowns.
Add that to every available piece of land being sold to developers and the town will eventually grind to a halt.
A money making social experiment overseen by the powers that be. None of whome I very much doubt actually live here, but more likely to be found residing in the leafy suburbs of the likes of Tonbridge and Sevenoaks.

But we do now have a very good football team to watch for those that can still get here.
We moved the ball around very well today, got forward quickly and were in control of the game from start to finish with our keeper barely troubled, unlike Slough whose keeper was their man of the match.

I saw a team today which can more than hold it's own in the National League.

Great stuff. Roll on next Saturday!
