This to me is just another sign of how anti supporter the football authorities are becoming? And not just when Darts, £££sfleet, that bus stop 'club' together with the aloof magpies/ravens or whatever they are, all play at home or all away on the same day.
Agree, nothing nicer than watching a game under lights on a 'balmy' autumn evening. As it turns out, the pink gin brigade of the National League have decided, barring Bank Holiday Monday, we must wait until the last week of October for such fayre, when the one "mid-week" round of games this side of Christmas, features a trip for the Darts to Chelmsford...on the MONDAY!!
Lets hope for good runs in Cup and Trophy so us winter weather beatened supporters can get wet and frozen at re-arranged mid week matches, whilst the players will find it harder to reproduce their skills in tougher conditions.
