Changing the page on the club calendar this morning made me think Carol has difficult choices for the 2019 edition. So many to pick from & who will be here next week never mind next year. Perhaps great moments from our time at P. P. may be a safer & more relevant theme this year round?
It cannot be much fun as programme editor neither, how can all these names be fitted in the statistics, where will the league table go as the names relentlessly creep further across the page? Never mind us fans being confused by all the comings and goings Captain Tom is in a whirl as he thought we were playing Eastbourne again in his notes. It all seemed familiar as I started reading, but the mention of 9 games being played alerted me that something was amiss. We get enough repeats on the tele without this.
I am anti loan signings unless they are needed to cover for our short term injuries and/or NOT to get the Parent Clubs player back to fitness after injury , I can see the benefit of season long loans as it gives a young player [ Pavey at Millwall would have been a great example ] a full season to develop , become part of a team and gives both parties security .
Andre Coker will do very well at Conference South level and hopefully his 3 months will be extended to a full season as he could well do " a Pavey ", be successful and get into higher level football again
A couple of Maidstone fans I know rate him as a quick winger/striker who could be ideal for us
I'm sure there used to be a limit on the number of players a club was allowed to sign on loan in a season and also on the number selected for a match. Does anybody know if this is still the case?
Another player on loan? Have we become a Feeder Club for the likes of Maidstone?
Still ; Welcolm Andre to our little club, we wish you well , after all we need all the help we can get at the moment !!!!!!!!!!!!

im not sure but my reference to being like borehamwood i think in one season they had over thirty on loan
Borehamwood became known to us as Borrow'em wood after we played them in the Ryman, a little while before they leapfrogged the Darts into the position they currently find themselves. It might very well be that they have sustained their high frequency loan policy over the years, but I think the reference was to a less successful time.
