I watched it on the telebox and was well impressed by our performance. Good football against very good (obvs) opposition. Some teams are gonna get a right pasting off us this season. (I have a small list of who I would like them to be!) Didn’t look like a 2,000 crowd to me though - unless there were a few hundred on camera side. Good work by Charlton TV.

Not sure if there were 2000 in the ground but the seats were pretty full and they hold just over 600.Sleightly Deceptive wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 12:32 pm Didn’t look like a 2,000 crowd to me though - unless there were a few hundred on camera side. Good work by Charlton TV.
We sold 2000 tickets so money's in the bank regardless

A lot of people stood in the gangways all around the ground (probably to make use of the shade in most cases). I can remember a time when the stewards used to usher fans onto the terraces or seats from the gangways because you weren't allowed to stand there during a match but they never seem to bother anymore.Sleightly Deceptive wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 12:32 pm I watched it on the telebox and was well impressed by our performance. A bit of a strange excuse for Charlton’s performance yesterday
Part of the problem yesterday was that pitch was in perfect condition with the grass cut short. It was before the game and half time.

Have a guess which sauve, intelligent, generous , good looking {?} pensioner who hails from Maidstone had the winning 50 50 ticket today !!!
TrevB is such a jammy git
Unlike that certain person who put the original post on and lives in Maidstone and will no doubt be keeping quiet about the win until I tell Helen about it so I hope you treated her to a meal out last night.![]()
Well done Dukey![]()
