First of all i would like to again thank Sittingbourne for stepping in and providing a good competitive friendly at such short notice.
We are still due to play the original fixture at Sittingbourne on Tuesday 3rd August so it would be nice if as many of us as possible can go and support them as well.

As for the game, in contrast to Saturday we were the higher placed team and adjusted well to the different circumstances. Sittingbourne acquitted themselves well and both teams got some decent minutes in.

Early days but a few signs of what to expect when the season starts and i'm happy with what i've seen so far.

Really enjoyed watching live football again , impressed with ALL new signings and easy to see why Jake Robinson has scored so many goals , no hanging around on the right or left wing , just in line with the goal !!!!!!!!!!
Charlton on saturday will be a real test but our guys will give them plenty to think about ??

Firstly a big thankyou to Sittingbourne's manager and players for agreeing to make the match possible at such short notice
A second good warm up game with plenty of goals and a chance to meet up with more fans and enjoy the atmosphere of being back at live football.
Struggling to remember names or identify players at the moment but another game to come against Charlton will help I'm sure

Was certainly great to get back to real football and catch up with all the fans at PP. Pitch looked fantastic and so was some of the football. All the new signings look very sharp but special mention to Luke Allen, what a classy looking player who glides around and always seems to be in the right place, and scores goals. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and a big up to the young lads and lasses who sung their hearts out throughout the game and I hope they stay around when we get into the meat of the season. On the downside, and I dont wanna sound like an old fart, I dont want to hear the c word being shouted out when there's lots of young kids close by. I had a quiet word with a steward and he said they can't do anything to stop it. Really???....Other than that small thing, fantastic evening.....BRING IT ON! ⚽️

Could be Dave, here's Sittingbourne's team and if I'm not mistaken includes another ex Dart:-

SITTINGBOURNE: Magnus Lewis, Freeman Rogers, Jack Healey, George Crimmer, Taylor Fisher, Wick Treadwell, George Monger, Tom Laynes, Harrison Pont, Jimmy Witt, Charlie Gill.
SUBSTITUTES: Johan Caney, Dominic Green, Ethan Stewart, Dylan Gilbert, Steve Mills, Reilly Connor.

George Monger had a few years at Faversham after leaving us. Liked Luke's second, well taken goal.

George Monger was on the fringe of the 1st team a few years ago and I seem to remember {?} he scored a cracking goal for us also was one of Wilkie's favourites but never made it with us !!!!
