Re: 2021/22 Season
Doswell is a good manager but I think he was relieved when the season was called to a halt. Havant & W had lost a wheel and I think he found he had a weak squad. He's making up for it now and hoping he's not going to be caught out this time around. H&W were favourites to get promoted, not sure what their price is now, not interested.
Steve has signed a three year contract and I expect him to honour it. I really can't see the supporters baying for his blood anytime soon, he provides entertainment.

I didn't say the club would sack him, but with the budget the club has given him even Kingy would be disappointed if we don't get promoted, but i say again Kingy will be with us next season because WE WILL get promotedJCJ wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 9:53 amIt will be hard to get promoted this season in NLS, But i expect us to be up there challenging and at least make the play-off's but to say Kingy will not be our manager if we dont in my opinion is nonsense, I think Kingy is here for the long haul and has brought into the clubs future and I cannot believe the club would sack him if we dont get promoted.Happy chappy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 9:21 amA rather strange reply. Sorry Happy C but thats nonsense. We are amongst the possibles purely because of the signings you have witnessed. Have you looked at all the other teams. This is what gets me with all the so called followers. All waitiing to promote the great signings but then they we must be promoted. Total bollocks. Enough of Reg but i will leave you with this

Must admit, I’m like a kid approaching Xmas this season. Can’t wait! Even for the fixtures next week! I have a sneaking feeling we will win the league and one or two teams are in for a serious pasting at PP. bring it on!

Re: 2021/22 Season
Mr H C , im sorry but this idea of the budget Kingy has he would be dissapointed if DFc were not promoted. Is a silly point, with all due respect of course. Im certain from signings made by others that we must be about 8th in the table for spending. This is the most competitive National league South i believe for as long as i can remember. We enter this season with hope because of Kingys ability to recruit and draw players of such superb quality on that said budget. We have a chance of promotion etc, but thats just it a chance. In my opinion without Steve at the helm, any other manager would not bring in the squad anywhere near the quality he has. And indeed i would be going into the season with trepidation rather than anticipation.Happy chappy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 1:29 pmI didn't say the club would sack him, but with the budget the club has given him even Kingy would be disappointed if we don't get promoted, but i say again Kingy will be with us next season because WE WILL get promotedJCJ wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 9:53 amIt will be hard to get promoted this season in NLS, But i expect us to be up there challenging and at least make the play-off's but to say Kingy will not be our manager if we dont in my opinion is nonsense, I think Kingy is here for the long haul and has brought into the clubs future and I cannot believe the club would sack him if we dont get promoted.Happy chappy wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 9:21 am

All this speculation before a ball has been kicked, no doubt our squad is excellent but the proof is in the pudding, one thing I am confident about is the fan following, home and away. Let’s do this!
Re: 2021/22 Season
Just came across this offering on this seasons stadiums in the NLS:-

Not sure how accurate the capacities are but when you look and compare grounds a lot of them don't make sense??

Re: 2021/22 Season
Well, just a few hours to the release of our fixtures for 2021/22. The long wait will soon be over. I must say I can't wait. It will be good to see the old faces on the half way line again and to find out just how good the squad is.
