Just looking at the squad and I am really getting excited at the prospect of the coming season. Steve King certainly does seem to be able to put a squad together. So much quality, so much talent. I don't know whether we'll win the leadue or get promoted, but if the players can gel, we'll surely be in with a decent shout. It should be a lot of fun. I can't wait to get back on the terraces.

Exactly that Spike. A squad of quality all over the place. Your right i dont know either if we will win the league or be promoted, but the team assembled will give it a great go. Anyone elses squad and we would be saying "we have no chance" thats fact. We have a chance of both ambitions. A chance. But so hard. One thing surely is we can support from every angle. Every angle. We will not be winning every game, so when we suffer any reverse or whatever, im suggesting lets not play FIFA manager, but support, support and more support. You know what we could just be going places. But without this man at the helm, i know and i do know that everybody wouldn't be going into this season with any ambition. Fact

Does anyone know why trialists are never named? Seems odd if they are out of contract.

I’m guessing it’s so that other teams don’t try and snap them up when your team is giving them a trial in case the manager wants to sign them. It’s less advertising as such of the player that they are free.

Just have to thank SK for assembling a very impressive looking squad. We will have some cracking games this season in front of the fans. I am really hoping that the crowds are around the 1500 mark. Who is your favourite player from the current squad? Mine is Noor Husin - elegant player with a deft touch.

I agree totally with KSTDart, Kieran Murtagh is head and shoulders above anyone else in the squad and undoubtedly could be still playing at a higher level but for his move into Part Time to accommodate his Carpentry future . he will be a major part of our promotion dreams , I just hope he doesnt pick up a nasty injury
Borehamwood and Woking fans suprised he dropped down to our level [ before the Carpentry announcement] with Woking really disappointed he didnt go there , says it all me thinks !!!!!!!!!

genuinely looking forward to this season - you never know what surprises other squads will have until it starts in ernest but to me, it looks as if we have a really decent looking squad. If we can keep them together for the whole season we should be right up there at the end of the season.
Here's hoping anyway.

What I like most about this squad is that there are no makeweights so I think I'll probably have a different favourite every week. That said, on the evidence I've seen so far, I think I'm going to be a big Danny Leonard fan.

Impossible for me to pick one. Whilst not a player for me the man who assembled this conundrum
