I just hope that Jacob isn’t getting thoughts above his station thinking he is better than he actually is or rather hope he’s not listening to a certain agents views instead.

He was an excellent player but it’s not always greener on the other side of the fence, sometimes your better off staying at the level your doing well at and building / climbing gradually than taking a running jump & falling.

There’s certainly nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself and playing as high as possible but climb to get there instead of jumping. I think Tyrique kind of made that mistake and then realised afterwards he’d made the wrong choice and came back to us. It’s good that Steve has left the door open for Jacob should it not work out and he changes his mind as well, as long as there is a place for him, it’s going to be stiff competition for that central midfield role.

I can’t wait for this pre season to start.

Discipline and unity will be vital for our club to be successful this season. There is talent coursing throughout - of that there is no doubt - but we must win and lose as a team. As SK says, after the unprecedented leveller of an abandoned season, most, if not all clubs will feel like they can make an assault on the playoffs. We should do very well, but have no divine right to finish higher than anyone else before a ball is kicked. Fortunately, that is going to happen very soon!

Nassim L'Ghoul has tweeted that he thanks everyone for his time at Dartford but it is time to move forward.

As skilful and and as frustrating in equal amounts, very much a luxury player but I would have enjoyed watching him play live with the crowd encouraging him .Hopefully the new players we have signed are an updgrade.

Agreed. I felt he could have been another Ryan Hayes, but we won’t know now.

I'm NOT disappointed that L'Ghoul is of to pastures anew as he "fiddled " about with the ball usually with his back to goal , had no pace and didnt score many goals , flashy but achieved little , Luke Wanadio and the new Winger from Sheppey both have pace and can score a good number of goals !!!!!!!

Reg first appeared in the life of Brian. Its absolutely simple just beer it up and leave it to kingy. That's it in a nutshell

What the Duke said! L'Ghoul was one of those players I hoped wouldn't be retained, as for all his impressive footwork, seemed forever to end up going down a blind alley, losing the ball and often failing to release the ball to a team mate. Far happier to see Wanadio back into the DFC fold.

Well in that case, at least this forum will be spared from being dominated by arguments about how great/awful he was.
