I pretty much agree with all of that, Ken. The revolving doors of players last year did little to maintain overall team performances.

Nevertheless, as well as a quality striker (or two), I think we need a dominant, creative presence in midfield who can dictate play and just make things happen. I doubt that SK will find another Eliot Bradbrook, but someone of that ilk would make the team much more effective and threatening.

But I suppose that's what every manager is searching for.

I’ve known Dan personally from his time at Bracknell Town as a youth team player. He’s scored goals wherever he’s played (Bracknell’s first team, Windsor and more recently Slough). Always scored for Slough against us. He’s an excellent signing in my opinion and great to have him on board.

Welcome Dan.
Looking at the comments on the Slough twitter feed they are really sad to see him go and rate him very highly.
So looks like Kingy has nicked a good one and really looking forward to seeing Dan play for us.

I hope it's a good signing. can't say he caught the eye against us in the last two fixtures.

Good that whoever is communicating in the Horsfield household thinks I am moaning. I thought I was having a laugh. Such is the Correction Squad from last season.

Looks to be a good young hungry striker and with 14 signed so far gives us the momentum to add another 5 [ incl 2/3 strikers ] for that serious promotion push !!!!!!!
