From the Twitter updates it didn't seem entirely convincing, so it will be interesting to read the views of those present. Nevertheless, three much-needed points.

Whatever the performance was like today it is a much better result that achieved last season at Weston-Super-Mare which was another early season game. That time there were lots of posts on the old forum demanding that players took the field and displayed a pride in the shirt and that TB needed to get things sorted quickly...….

Reading the forum from afar these days, it is three years since I moved from Eltham, it appears that a lot of the comments posted in the early weeks of this season are remarkably similar to a lot posted this time last year...….only the names have been changed in some cases....

Oh and was the form issue sorted last season in the end? With new management things are going to take time to come together and it seems that a large number of supporters are remembering the recent past with rose tinted glasses......

Another unconvincing performance we gave the ball away so many times it,s a wonder we won.WSM played some neat football and if Derren had not been at his best we could have lost,I know he let in a soft leveller but you can,t stop everything. And can you explain to me how we let a decent defender like Roast go keep Vint on the bench and play a loan player in his place.

We ground out a win but without Charlie we were toothless up front. They had some good chances which they failed to take and both sides hit the woodwork. Not sure about Jordan Wynter in defence I prefer Ronnie Vint. Weston had a good moan about our winning goal claiming offside? Bradders Nobes and Ben worked hard and deserved or not we get the points.

A much needed three points, but that was a tough watch.

The first half started well, with noble heading in a good Greenhalgh cross for the opening goal. After that we let Weston back into the game, and were second best for much of the first half.

We improved in the second half, with Philpot taking advantage of Weston switching off at set piece. We should have killed the game off after that, but our goal shy front line struggled again.

Weston were dangerous from set pieces, hitting the bar twice, but we really laboured to beat a pretty weak team. If we played like we did against Billericay we would have won comfortably, But yet again we were unable to match the intensity from our last good performance.

Kenneth Yao, Amadou Ba and Ben Greenhaulgh were the standouts for me. Noble also played much better when he was moved into central midfield. He’s completely wasted out wide; I assume that the loss of Knowles forced this tactical move.

Three points but a 5/10 performance.

We didn't really look in control at any time in the game and it felt like WSM could easily score if they got the rub of the green - luckily luck was not with them! Again we picked up silly bookings but I thought that the new centre half looked pretty good and the 2 full backs played well with Mark edging it. But Ba is the guy with a bit of style about him and he works hard too so he is my MoM.
What is Delano Sam- Yorke about? He seems to amble about rather than run and when he gets the ball looks less than a threat - time for him to move on I think.

I've just listened to the interview with their manager who believes they should have won and is very critical of the officials too.

Nothing to add about the match , WSM deserved at least a point but I suppose I am grateful for all 3 , you have to question the Management as Vint was dropped for the Eastbourne game , brought back for the Uckfield game , dropped for todays game and after Wynters month is up no doubt Vint will be reinstated as Roast has departed , thats assuming we dont sign another loanee centre back , no doubt Vints month on the bench wll be an ideal way for him to be match fit [tic] ????

I am anti loanees unless with us for the season , so get rid of short term ones , get some decent players in and stop f......g about !!!!!!!!!
