Dartford Ladies Cup final win

Post by Reginald Horsfield »

In the absence of any posts let me be the first to congratulate our Ladies on winning the Kent Fa Cup. A really enjoyable game to watch, and both individually and as a group, the team were immense and ran out worthy Three one winners.
Well done to all.

Other than the match thread:-

"Re-arranged 2019/20 Kent Women's Cup Final - Tue 25th May 7:45pm"

Which I started over two weeks ago and congratulated them on last night.....

I went and enjoyed the game , other than 15 mins in 2nd half [ when the Darts were 2-1 up] Darts were well in control although Aylesford tried hard ..,There was a decent crowd 200plus ? but seems like Maidstone FC had little interest in staging it as no programme available or any sign of food , best was a packet of crisps with a pint from the Portacabin bar they bothered to open !!

Attendance was 462 apparently Mr D. There was an official programme which could only be downloaded though

It was a decent game and our girls were worthy winners. If there was a MOTM vote I would have gone for Emily Read out wide on the right who I thought was the star of the show and caused Aylesford all sorts of problems. All the girls played their part though and it's great to have them as part of the DFC family. It felt wonderful to be back on the terraces again and 462 was a very good crowd too. Very enjoyable evening.

Surely WOTM is too gender-specific as well? How about POTM for both teams? - Or even the (US) MVP?
