International call up's

Post by the futures white »

The season may be over for Dartford but not for some of our players who have received international call up's for forthcoming World Cup qualifiers....

Jernade Meade and Craig Braham-Barrett will be representing Montserrat against Antigua & Barbuda and El Salvador whilst Ricky Modeste will be representing Grenada against El Salvador and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Interestingly, the Grenada squad also has two former Darts in the squad: Tyrone Sterling and Kairo Mitchell. Montseratt also have former Dart, Bradley Woods-Harness. There is also a Sevenoaks Town player in that squad!
There have been quite a few of Steve Kings signings who have International caps, I wonder how many International players we have had at the club now? Hessie and Steve Connor played for England C, Ibrahim for Gibralter - how many others?

Joe Taylor at Sevenoaks is the brother of Lyle Taylor who moved from Charlton to Nottingham Forest last year

Add to that list Peter Taylor who played at all international levels and managed the U21s and senior squad.

If loan players count, Amrit Bansal-Mcnulty played for Ireland. Amazing really, most of these players are post the Taylor era.
Oh and Noor Husin played for Afghanistan!
