Frank Worthington

So many great footballers sadly dying just lately, but I seem to remember Frank playing out his career in non-league.
Am I right in thinking that he played at Watling Street toward the end in a game we won, I always remember he played in midfield for the opposition and you could still see the quality even with two heavily strapped knees.
Am I right he played for Merthyr Tydfil? I could be wrong. I can't remember the year.

No Merthyr T. Strange, I could have sworn. The most likely club that I may have seen him with in that list is Weymouth but I'm beginning to question myself now. Thanks Butch
