Don't claim you have read articles when clearly you haven't and everything will be fine
It is quite possible to read the article and still think that Robbie Savage is a bit of a twat. In fact it's very difficult to read anything and not think Robbie Savage is a bit of a twat.
Did you read the article?
What was the highest level of football did you play?

Park Life wrote: Sun Feb 21, 2021 11:44 am Great article from Steve King in todays Non League Paper.
I did say the NL board haven't thought this through and one of the main reasons (as Steve mentions) is if the EFL won't relegate anyone as there won't be relegation from the NL how do you think the likes of Torquay etc are going to take that news........ do you honestly think they will continue with no chance of promotion??
It's a complete mess.
Clearly the NL Board can't complain if the EFL won't relegate anyone as the NL won't.
You reap what you sow

In otherwords, the NL can't make anymore cock-ups from now on.
If they piss off the Football League half as much as they've pissed us off it could have serious repercussions.
It is very unlikely there will be any relegation from the FL, or as likely as any relegation from the national league
The NL are up the creek without a paddle on this, and they have no defence.

So, with fans permitted back into stadiums from mid-May (all being well) then the proposal that NLS and NLN to have a restricted competition makes more sense. It also shows how short-sighted the NL Committee actually is. The correct proposal would be to suspend the season and for interested clubs to complete when they can benefit from bums on seats. Oh no what am I saying, that would upset the NLP cartel because it may not mean promotion to the Football League.

Both teams begin with D, both are on the edges of Kent, both play in white & black. I don't think the League would notice if we did swap over the way they have been operating of late.

Great clarity for football from the PM this afternoon. Fans may be allowed at sporting events with effect from 17 May, up to 50% of capacity, indoors (max 1,000) or out (max 4,000). If we happen to play any more football this season, it would appear that we will not get to see much of it, unless the league season is extended. My fear is that the dates announced by the PM this afternoon will ensure that the season is now over as there is no real possibility of the introduction of fans and thus no chance of generating any serious income. I assume that clubs will now plan their pre-season in the hope that crowds will once again return on late summer/early autumn.

However, I note that from 29 March the roadmap indicates: 'Formally organised outdoor sports - for adults and under 18s - can also restart and will not be subject to the gatherings limits'. Perhaps if we do play again, we should claim that our matches are formally organised outdoor sport.
