I watched 25 mins and then turned it of , same old boring football, pretty tip tap stuff in our own half with both full backs passing it backwards more times than forward , a load of dross !!!!!!
Only 2 players [ Bonner and JBA ] playing anything like top quality NLS standard , the rest are going through the motions , on paper we have a decent squad but that doesnt win games !!
This is probably the biggest challenge Steve King has ever had , looking forward to him sorting it out !!

From the DFC website
"The Darts began the game on the back of an excellent home run against tonight’s opponents, having been unbeaten in the previous six meetings."

Did you write this Reggie Baby? Since the start of December we have got 9 points from a possible 24. That's relegation material surely?? The six games referred to we took 9 from 18, that's not excellent in my reckoning??

Although the result didn't go our way, I didn't think the performance was as bad as some on here are making it out to be. It doesn't matter how well you play, you still need a little bit of luck and let's face it, we have not had the rub of the green lately. Once again, we had some very good chances, far better than our opponents and we had far more percentage of play. We definitely should have had a penalty, possibly two and these decisions can certainly affect the performance and outcome of the game.

However, it's quite clear that we are not as good this season and will struggle to make the playoffs. The players who have been drafted in, with the exception of JBA are not as good as those which departed last season, most notably McQueen, Wannidio & Hyde. This season our wingers/fullbacks have been dreadful and are as about effective as farting into a hurricane. You don't always have to go past your opposition, you can always give yourself a yard in order to deliver a cross, which we can do either. As it stands, SK would be better off calling on the services of a player who can deliver a cross and more importantly create space for others.

The most annoying factor for me is playing that defensive midfielder who just sits on the back four playing sideways passes and looks like a sending off waiting to happen every game. How he has managed to get so much credit on here is puzzling, its just like playing five at the back for me and now I think SK will have to look at the possibility of being more positive before the season gets worse. In a twisted kinda way, I wouldn't be too disappointed if the league pulled the plug. At least it might help the gaffer to get his thinking cap on and start to be more positive with the lineup.

I agree with you Duke. It will be interesting to see how or if SK sorts this out. Pre season we were all raving about depth and quality of the squad. The Board have bent over backwards to get the players in that Steve wanted. The depth side isn't as good as we thought and the quality sightly better. All the fuss over the signing of Akinwande?? I see no quality there, Modeste? Was he out there last night? Different permatations up front, all firing blanks.
L'Ghoul gets the ball and immediately runs in to a corner? I'm not suggesting he's bad, I just wish he was more direct. If he loses a ball on a surging run I could put up with it but he does seem to be going nowheremost of the time.
You could pick holes in our side all night. Apart from our three obvious attempts on goal last night Eastbourne were comfortable without looking like they were going to get another.
How is Steve going to sort this? It's going to be a hard task. have players lost interest now that the up's and down's of promotion/relegation this season is pretty well buggered? I think so.

The Don- I think the website report refers to our unbeaten run against Eastbourne, not our recent home record.

So Eastbourne do the double on us!

Another disappointing result, very disappointing.....its a results business and we are coming up short too often. I have to say that after the excitement of last season, I thought that the momentum would be a Dartford force to be reckoned with. Whilst still believing the squad is good enough, the results have not been encouraging for a while now and I am wondering if the whole situation has 'got' to our playing side.

Not going to speculate about reasons/excuses but I really hope that the results come soon as 3 or 4 wins on the bounce would restore my faith in the championship bid. Finding it hard to watch the games currently, which, in itself is stressing me out even admitting it.

Where has the confident exciting Dartford side gone?, need it back fast please or we will have a major fight to even make the play offs.

Win or lose, have a booze!

We may of had a good record against Eastbourne but that's for the birds now. Not a good enough points tally at all....lets get real here, thanks to the Don for highlighting.

Mr Trump, you must know me by now, only positives from Reginald. PPG table we currently lay 4th. Not good enough Kebabus imagine being the Kebabus of the other 16 teams. You must consider yourself lucky to be the Kebabus Of Dartford.

Love the positivity Reggie Baby, have to say that PPG figure must be in serious danger the way our results have been going. Just need a decent run of results to keep us in the play offs or we will be mid table if this season ever finishes.

Reggie, I was referring to the points total the Don mentioned, that went over your head as your positivity got the better of you.

As there is only one F in Fulham, there is only one Kebabus of Dartford.

See you in the trenches some day.

We are on the slide, unfortunately and I mentioned it once and never got away with it....
