I decided not to watch this match having found little to entertain in recent games. Having scanned the comments here I'm glad I made that decision.

Win the league?
You are having a laugh!!!
Dreadful miss by Sheringham and Bonner hit the bar, that is our efforts over 90+ minutes.
I rate Steve king but there too much tinkering for my liking

There just doesn't seem to be any cohesion out there.
Lots of passing around but NO end product.
All these strikers on our books but we haven't scored anywhere enough goals . goodnight.

Poor again - the falseness of our current position in the league becomes more apparent every game.
In the past we demonstrated an ability to produce creative flowing football but now we have as much hit and hope as anything else.
I have no idea where the problem lies but it certainly needs fixing. No MoM on this showing.

Huffed and Puffed with no real quality on show ? There is a certain predictability about our play, and it is nothing to get excited about, very same old same old ? whereas we had McQueen and Wanadio's pace and skill last season , we are very much lacking that sort of quality on the wings this season ?

I’d agree with The Don - not an awful display, but not the stuff of champions. If the season does finish, there are too many wolves at the door. We’d have to rely on ALL of them playing out our WLDWLD form for the rest of their games in order for us to win it. We’d definitely need someone on a double figure goal tally and the barren first half run is straight up weird.

Still, could be worse - could be Welling.

Have to admit that I gave up in the Radio Kent commentary about 20 minutes into the second half. The tone of the commentators said it all and there was no suggestion that Dartford were pressing hard and causing Eastbourne any difficulty.

I appreciate that it must be very difficult for the players of both sides and unfortunately for us, scoring the first goal seems more critical now than ever. If the season completes we will probably be in a play-off position when many expected more after the finish to last season. We can but hope that we will be back in the grounds by then and able to show the effect that the twelfth man has at Dartford.
