This is a much bigger thing than retribution on Parmenter , IF by the decision Parmenter gets a reprieve which then saves only 1 Club [ likely to be 20 +] going bust then so be it , I have no time for Parmenter but just sometimes life aint fair !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He wants Dover playing in the National league next season and if the season comes to end they will be as there won't be any promotion or relegation between the NL, NLS and NLN.
Exactly - the man is utterly untrustworthy. Whatever rubbish he spouts, all he is interested in is himself and his own club. He will do anything at the expense of all other National League clubs to protect and benefit his own interests.
Without a doubt. We don't don't want that Slimeball to get his own selfish way

Looks like the NLS is going to be outvoted!

The above-mentioned article says that clubs in all three divisions have been asked to vote on whether they want to decide the fate of their own leagues or be grouped together. IF they vote decide go their own way, then at present 9 vs 4 of the NLS clubs want to complete the season - a slight hint in our favour?

There are so many variables in this decision, but what does seem odd purely from a health perspective is that all the statistics are currently falling in almost every area across the country.
There is still the issue around funding but I would assume most clubs would have budgeted across the whole season and factored in the return of fans at some stage, or a second tranche of funding.
At this stage I can't see the majority wanting to continue and I fully expect the clubs who want to continue will put up a fight to be allowed to do so if the vote goes against them.
With the several clubs in the NS wanting to continue I can see some form of mini league being organised to conclude the season.

Bath, Slough, Maidstone and Tonbridge are the only clubs in NLS (so far) who want the season scrapped. Bath and Slough are fighting relegation, so that might be their motivation; though as the Ryman wont be completed I presume there cant be relegation from the NLS?

I'm pretty sure that Maidstone's option would be different if they were in the promotion race!

How about this for an exciting few months of meaningfull football : ALL N L S & N teams who want to continue with this season form a minI league with the winners of each then having a two legged play of to decide who gets promoted and make the 24th team in the Vanarama National .
Thats assuming that the Vanarama National teams vote to NOT complete the season , IF they are to continue then its even easier as their bottom two could be directly replaced by both of the mini league winners

EASY ISNT IT BUT WHATS THE BET IT WONT HAPPEN ???????

I'm 100% sure if the boys from the plastic were still in the FA Trophy they would want the season to continue

Another article about Uncle Jim and Dover's woes on Kent-Online. Not much sympathy from readers comments though.

An item on the Tonbridge Angels website shows what a mess the situation is. Well worth a read, explains the dilemma many clubs are facing.
