Interesting that the Maidstone plastic pitch has not been able to cope with the snow, nor the Welling muddy, grassy one. Top marks to our ground staff and any volunteers that answered the social media call of yesterday evening.

I hope their hard work is rewarded with a decent performance and a few goals from out team this evening.

Come on you DARTS!

Don' t know about Welling, but having seen pictures of Maidstone it is not really surprising their match is off. There has been much more snow down there and the game was called off yesterday, still it might not matter if games are played or not only time will tell.

I think Maidstone would have called it off even if the sun was shining!!

Just seen the before and after pictures of PP on the twitter feed. Well done to the volunteers, a lot of work for a well deserved pizza.

Full marks to your ground staff - top notch work to get the game on. Sorry not to be travelling tonight but there's some snow in the forecast, and the journey home might have been no fun (I know Kingy has the same journey but his motor is bigger than mine...)

Best of luck to both sides and best wishes to you all.

I had to pop in to PP at lunchtime today and would like to thank "all the people" who were working hard in extremely cold conditions to get tonights game on. Thanks to every one of you (and there were quite).
The ironic thing is if spectators were allowed in then it is likely that the game would have been called off because of safety concerns in and around the stadium!! We are living in very strange times....

Hope the lads can get off to a good start and get our noses in front early rather than having to pull off another remarkable comeback.

the duke wrote: Tue Feb 09, 2021 11:28 am I presume that Craig King is still with us as surely he will get back into the team after Wilkes recent mediocre displays , JBA must play even IF NOT 100% fit , dont play Romain as a right winger [ IF at all] and start to play to the level we did 2nd half of last season PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the keeper has been pretty good, doesnt warrant being dropped at the moment in my opinion. 2nd half of last season Duke? Just hope they start to play like they do second half of most games THIS season eh. COYDs put in a performance please tonight.

I'm not 100% sure but i thought i heard Craig King got a knock in training a little while ago so he may still be injured??

As for Dan Wilks, i think he has now played 3 games and was good in his first two and whilst he did not have a great game against Bus Stop FC he comes very highly rated so i'm sure will provide very good competition.
