He certainly doesn’t agree with things and has quit so he can freely say what he thinks where as he couldn’t whilst part of the NL Board.

Parmenter really does take the biscuit, doesn't he?

He has the audacity to state that member clubs have lost confidence in the NL Board. I wonder why that is? Perhaps it is something to do with the disgraceful allocation of the grant funding, that he was party to, that saw his own club get a massive slice compared to other more worthy clubs.

I suggest that the reason for his resignation is more likely that he realises that he has got as much out of his place on the Board for his own club as he can, so he has now bailed out before the consequences of this entire fiasco really hits the fan.

I interpret this as he wants the season to come to and end for all clubs outside the FL and keep the Status Quo
He wants Dover playing in the National league next season and if the season comes to end they will be as there won't be any promotion or relegation between the NL, NLS and NLN.

Exactly - the man is utterly untrustworthy. Whatever rubbish he spouts, all he is interested in is himself and his own club. He will do anything at the expense of all other National League clubs to protect and benefit his own interests.

If any of the National League Board members are applying for any new jobs in the near future I don't think they will be asking for Liam Watson to provide a reference. Very good interview, best wishes to the Southport player who has suffered such a bad injury.

ALL Clubs should support the absolute non negoitable stance that IF a Grant is NOT given to allow Clubs to survive and finish the season then ALL Clubs will NOT play any further games this season , the League cant fine everyone , will lose total credability and be forced to resign [ en bloc] !!!!

Then slimeball Parmenter gets his own way? Dover keep the disgraceful allocation of lottery grant funding to clear his debts, and they avoid relegation!

This season must finish after the league has already taken £10million of public money. Some clubs (not Dover) have no morals, but to try and restore some credibility at least, surely the season should be completed.
