Their twitter page says: "Ground number 163 this afternoon at the very wet @AfcUckfieldTown v @dartfordfc #FACup match"
I might be completely wrong but I also saw that tweet and presumed it was the groundhoppers 163rd ground visited?

Are most of our players on contract?
Because it they are not then we should weed
one of two out because they are just not performing
Imo.
For the 3rd game in a row we have got out of jail late
in the game. That shows character but if we had 11
Players performing then we would not be chasing the
game every week.

The official FA website has the attendance recorded as a round 500. Since earlier reports suggested the ground capacity was about 300, it all seems a bit hit and miss.

Anyway, the Darts are through to the next round, and that's all I care about. Well played Uckfield, by looking at the updates.
Very glad we put the game to bed after they took the lead.

Name and shame...

For me, Delano was ineffectual, Noble had his worst half I've ever seen, Elliot huffed and puffed with no tangible outcome... To be honest, our whole team stank the place out and we were all ready for bed at half time. Still, 1-3 was probably about right by the final whistle and my personal take on it all is that the substitutions were made at decent times, none more pinnaclular than Tom Murphy who finally mustered our first shot on target which was an absolute beaut which found its way into the bottom corner. Beyond this, we were simply too much for little Uckfield, but fair play to them, they certainly gave us a scare. Probably the wettest game since the Cambridge 3-3 a few years ago, was edged in weirdness by the Norwegians though.

Also noticed that Alfie Cue was named on the bench for Leatherhead today for their FA Cup match, even though he wasn't used. If he is on dual registration, does that mean he is ineligible, or still eligible, to play for the Darts if he is recalled whilst we are still in the FA Cup?

I stand to be corrected, but if it is dual registration Leatherhead have a right to have him in the squad? A bit different to a loan.

We ground out a win on a horrible wet cold day against sturdy opponents playing what for them was their cup final on a ground that could be generously described as primitive. First half we were poor but improved greatly second half when they tired. Tom Murphy changed the game to our advantage and we survive the banana skin.

That is great news for Uckfield, a crowd of around 500 is 5 or 6 times their usual gate and i should imagine their board are delighted.
It keeps these so called "little clubs" afloat , and there is always talented young players to be found at this level.

Not long after I posted I retired to the chaise long and took up a book with the monotonous drone of Radio Gillingham in the background. Imagine midway through Chapter 19 I perked up at AFC Uckfield being a goal up.
Eight minutes from the usual 90 they mentioned a Dartford equaliser, and then in quick succession, two more. At that point I was well into Chapter 27 and turned the fecking thing off.
There will be ructions, I thought.
Still, there's always WSM next Saturday.
Shall I bring my book? :|
